    Basically, all I'm suggesting is that the nether portal have the ability to be dyed simply by right clicking it with the dye. It will turn to the respective color of the dye until you change it to something else. But not only that, it will also give it a unique particle effect. Here's a list of what each dye's particle effect is. (have fun wording that sentence a different way)


    Red/Orange - Fire Particles

    Lapis/LightBlue - Splash Particles

    White/LightGray - Enchanting Table Particles

    Green - Bone Meal/Happy Villager Particles (the green ones you see when you grow a tree or trade with a villager)

    Magenta - Normal Portal Particles

    Pink - Heart Particles

    Ink(black) - Mycelium Particles

    Brown - Red Instant Potion Particles (instant damage particles)

    Yellow - Mad Villager Particles


    If a portal is dyed, it will be the same color on both sides. If a new portal is generated in the nether and the original in the overworld is dyed, that one will be dyed too.

    This is definitely somewhat original compared to other pigmen suggestions.


    But, if you wanted, you could make a much better defense such as an iron golem or several wolves.

    You have a very large amount of iron by the time you get to the nether, so you're better off just making an iron golem or finding a few wolves. If your wolves get low health, you can heal them with rotten flesh, which I'm almost certain you wouldn't want for yourself.

    Now wait, didn't you mention storage? Well, you're much better off using a mule for storage since they have far more inventory slots.


    Minimal support; original and had a lot of effort, but just doesn't compare to other defenses.


    My suggestion: Buff it, for how hard to obtain it is compared to other pets and defenses, it needs a serious buff, and a counterbalance to match that buff so it isn't overpowered.

    I like the geode, and only the geode. Take the hammer out of the entire equation, it's very unnecessary. Besides that, I like the idea.


    Partial support; I like the core idea and only the core idea.

    One thing that bothers me is seeing how you lashed out against the critics rather than working with them and taking advantage of their suggestions.

    I had a thought, though. Powered crossrails and activator crossrails can only be powered from the bottom, which could be confusing for some people who are totally lost when it comes to redstone.


    You could place them on redstone blocks.

    Partial support they shouldn't be craftable but regular rails should just attatch as a cross when it is surrounded by other rails, in this way T-junctions should also exist.


    This wouldn't allow for ultra-compact rail designs, as opposed to my idea.
