Java is case-sensitive. Because you asked for swordCactus (Item.swordCactus), but in Item.java you put swordcactus, they can't find each other. Make sure that they are the same. So you can try instead of swordcactus, change that to swordCactus.

    Happy modding!

I still can't access that code. Copy paste the code you edited and created into [ code ] tags like so:

Not PMing anyone. Removes others' opportunities to help on a evolving problem.
The code you're interested in is probably in WorldGenTrees. If you increase the j/y value, you could make the trees' canopy go up. And then you'd have to change it so wood extends from the canopy to the ground.

    Give us details!
If things have property files, you can change the ID from there.

posted a message on Modding help needed (using Modloader)
KrimsoniteoreItem needs to be krimsoniteoreItem because java is case-sensitive.

ItemKrimsoniteore(int i, int j) should be ItemKrimsoniteore (int i) because you tried to do new ItemKrimsoniteore(4001), in which you only submitted 1 integer.

Happy modding! Reviewing Java helps a lot with modding too :iapprove:

Read the thread you gave us. It says no ModLoader needed. It says working for 1.5_01.
A modloader basically provides a means of adding mods to avoid conflicting with other mods (usually works).
You want to mod the one in bin.
Both methods work, but it's easier to just delete the whole Meta-Inf folder.

    Happy modding!
(PS for mod-specific problems, it's recommended that you ask on the mod's thread)

    1) That's almost the same error report as the one above
    2) Follow my instructions above.
    3) Happy modding/debugging!

Bleh downloading stuff. 1) that website is blocked for me. 2) you can just post your code using the [code] tags. 3) you also want to show us the error report. 4) use mcp 2.12. There are no tutorials for 3.x.
    Happy modding!

It seems that the code you're using means that when the blowfish attacks from itself. Wha? The Entity should be EntityPlayer, since that now means that when the blowfish is attacked by a player, then it should be mad.

Anyhow, I don't recall having a mob that only attacks in a group of one. But I haven't played for a while. Take a look at EntityPigZombie or EntityWolf.

posted a message on Modding help please
You're asking some pretty complicated things. First you have to make the Model and/or Render match your laser picture. Second, the code has a lot of sin()s and stuff, not hard to find, but harder to figure out. Try recoding that part. Third, you have to get the position of your laser entity and then create an explosion block to show OR figure out what makes EntityTNT explode.

Try decompiling some of the plugins that change colors (with Java Decompiler?). Or you can ask them on their thread.

You don't want to edit class files. You want to edit java files. GuiIngame. Use your computer's search tool >_>. And WHY would you ever do that?

That is correct. But since I'm still modding in 1.4, I have no clue where to put it. Try putting it inside your minecraft.jar, inside .minecraft/mods/ (make it if you don't have it), wherever!
