    thats really interesting. Firstly, can I apologise, realise I've posted this in the wrong section. Feel free Mods to move it.

    As for the question, well, I had watched them using the work block (in this case I just used a barrel) and initially saw them doing work (the little stars that appear) but actually, I'm not sure they are working now, all they are doing is moving around and spinning.

    As I think about it, its very possible I've not given them enough space based on what you've said - do they just need to stand next to a work block to be able to use it, I had used a block above to keep them in, but now think I need to expand the little cages I've built for them?

    hi

    Can you help me please? Im running Windows PE/Windows 10 Bedrock 1.14 edition of MC

    I've included some screenshots. Im leveraging the villager-panic mechanic which spawns Iron Golems to use in an auto-iron farm. However, despite thinking I've built this correctly, the villagers will not spawn Iron Golems.

    Here are my assumptions;

    • Each villager has a work block, a bed and can see the zombie to in effect, 'panic'
    • All the block distances are correct, (even though I'm not quite sure how a Iron Golem would spawn on the roof)
    • I've used light to ensure nothing erroneous spawns within the farm
    • I'm leaving it long enough to work

    You can assume my chest, dropper, and water/lava set up is a-ok

    I can only assume this doesnt work in the version of Minecraft I'm using OR I've done something stupid

    Any advice?

    I am hoping you guys can help me. I appreciate this info is buried somewhere across this forum so I'm going to have a look but if anyone could point me in the right direction, Id be grateful.

    I have a 7 year old Daughter, who plays Minecraft Xbox One Edition, and I play the Windows 10 edition. I downloaded the XBox one edition from the store, and purchased the Windows 10 version from a third party, called Eneba (which I'm not impressed with) rather than Mojango directory (Eneba were offering a discount at the time)

    Over the last few months, we've all watched videos, played in both modes, got to grips (to some degree) with Minecraft and started building.

    I'd like to start progressing on the game but am struggling to understand the different versions. I want to be able to use mod and resource packs, but in the Windows 10 edition, the option is not there (do I need to use the Java version) and what versions should I use to ensure I can share content between my platform and the xbox. I want to run a server too, so need to take that into account.

    What are the in effect 'best versions' to use, and what would you recommend to be the most linear logical way to learn about crafting, brewing and generally getting by in Survival mode?

    Thanks guys
