The fact that this can supposedly be done without ever joining the server makes me pretty skeptical, however if you would like to share any relevant information you can do so by emailing me: [email protected]
Alright, so now that this new version is out - anyone out there with JarBundler experience that would care to throw this into a .app for us Mac users?
I can use the .jar as is but it's somewhat unsupported compared to the .app I used to use (3.1.5). I tried taking a look into JarBundler but I'm afraid I don't really know much about what I'm doing with Java. I've made a post on reddit asking if anyone's got any ideas, but if anyone beats reddit to the punch, would you be able to PM me a DL link to a .app, or give me a step-by-step on how to do this?
Hey man, great launcher, LOVING IT, been using it for a while, but when do you think the .app will come out? The .jar starts slow, and sometimes takes multiple attempts to start.
All the launchers have their ins and outs. Magic Launcher I've worked with, and it checks for compatibility cleverly. MultiMC has a downgrader and lets you have completely different .minecraft folders.
The best I can come up with for this particular launcher is that it allows the user to switch between multiple Minecraft accounts. Would I be correct? I'm sure there are also bits I'm overlooking.
You can switch jars, accounts and .minecraft folders in this.
Newest version allows you to join your favourite servers simply by right clicking play. They are automatically added and synced with the ones you add via Minecraft.
The launcher will also show you the Minecraft version next to each jar. Useful if you love snapshots like me!
Looks like an awsome launcher, but im confused about some things.
1. If i install some addons in one configuration and then make a new configuration and deselect some of those addons they are also deselected in the first configuration. Isnt the whole point so you can have different configs that load different mods?
2. If i have multiple minecraft.jar files named differently it looks like i can install different mods on each of those, but there is no way to select the correct jar file in the configurations settings, it always launches minecraft.jar
The only way i managed to get different mods loaded is to make separate minecraft installation folders but then the maps is not the same since they are in each folder.
Have i misunderstood something, or am i doing it wrong?
Cheers!
1) Will investigate as a potential bug
2) On the addons screen, at the top, look for "active jar"

I have a mac and used the xcode tools pack to made an app out of your launcher, even though I have extremely little knowledge in coding. Contact me if your interested!
P.S this is, in my opinion, the best modding/launcher, out there.
I will get round to make Sir Jenkins do that automatically, thanks for the offer, you can test the automatic mac builds when I get them set up.

Use Maven, netbeans supports it natively really well and Eclipse does an ok job. Just import maven project.
