Lol everything is made out of smoothed out play-doh.

Well I was looking for a good seed when I loaded it up and used the SSPcommands to fly around and I saw this magnificent mountain area. I just knew that I had to share it with everyone else.
Also, I flew around so you won't start out exactly where I am.

How much time are you able to play Minecraft? Usually about 2 hours on weekdays and I'm free on weekends.

You might want to try updating java since it's a total RAM ***** when it runs Minecraft.

I'm pretty sure that many people are experiencing this problem, while you play in the downloaded version of Minecraft your game randomly crashes. This is most likely caused because of the 1.5 Beta start up screen. The reason why I think this is because I had one of the old start ups before my game started randomly crashing. Then when I got the 1.5 version, my game would crash. I don't know why it would affect Minecraft in this way but apparently it's having a problem with the client.

Or you can just get a single player console commands by using "tele 12550820 100 0" which teleports you to the far lands.

This area creates severe lag as you have to load practically the entire game and mobs just run rampant there.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work in multiplayer, since nether portals are non-functional.

It said portal. The portal isn't part of the Nether, it's only a block in the game.

Mobs can reach your bed if they can walk within two blocks of it. So if you have a house on the surface and put your bed on the first floor of your home, they can reach you. You can just put your bed in the middle or your room and that should solve your problem.
