How are people excited about this. Think about the server owners and developers, they are gonna be delayed to update for months

The systems to make name changing work have been in place since 1.6. If devs/server owners aren't already ready then that's their fault.

Will you be re-implementing the rotation of HUD items and the ability to use the solid bars for things? That was my favorite feature in the original.

Rotation is already implemented in most of the vanilla items. Solid bars are yet to come, I've just been busy with work and life lately.

It helps, but are you planning to fix this?

Eventually. I think I just need to change a line or two of the chat code.

The chat is pushed down to the bottom-left of the screen when I enter Fullscreen. If it helps, I use a Mac with a 19:10 screen

Please try changing Options->Video Settings->Gui Scale to Medium or Small.

    Custom crosshairs wont work...

That's because they aren't supposed to yet. I haven't got around to fixing their brokenness yet.

Any chance we can get some working screenshots in the OP, so I can actually see what this mod DOES? :P The whole original post is completely broken.

The mods.io page has a screenshot.

I am going to start streaming a private pack of this on FTB (Mixed Bean Soup), but when I go public (hopefully soon) I wondered if I could get your permission to use this mod. I am still gathering permissions and such, but will start shooting the private stream soon.

I know Turbo said public domain, but you have taken it over so I will need your permission if you would be so kind. If there is anything you need from me I will give it my best.

Feel free to stream with it and such, just please don't distribute it in any modpacks.

I may have found a bug, when i connect to Wynncraft, the Health and food bar become transparent (no color either). This doesn't happen on any other server that i know of. Also, the Tab menu won't work.

    Screenshot of the transparency bug?

is the fade out option still there, i cant seem to find it if it is, please add the options back to change fading and the changing styles of HUD if they aren't added any more, i miss them. :(

It's not yet implemented, but I am working on it.

I'm having a little bit of trouble with this mod. When I use it in MP, the crosshair shows up as a discolored box. I cannot change it. In SP, it's the default crosshair, and I can't change it to any of the other options. Anybody else having this issue? Anybody know a fix?

If it helps, I'm using a Mac and Minecraft Forge.

Are you using a resourcepack? Screenshot?
    Quote from bencub7

When I try to change the crosshair nothing happens. Any help?

    It's not yet implemented.

Use the recommended version of forge rather than the latest.
    http://files.minecraftforge.net/

Edit: Or use the latest dev version, this issue was fixed in 1.7.2-10.12.1.1073.

Hey, one problem-it does not work with Damage Indicators or Zan's minimap,
I do understand that you just uploaded this, but I want to be able to use them all.

Support for them will come in the next update. (Probably within the next couple of days)

CHUD is giving me issues trying to load most TFC worlds

EDIT: after making 15 new worlds out of frustration, I got one that didn't crash

I don't expect to be able to load it again after I save and exit

    You're using 1.6.2.
    "2014-05-09 14:06:07 [INFO] [STDOUT] Minecraft Version: 1.6.2"
CompactDisplayHUD is only works with 1.5.2, 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 right now. I'll put a version out for 1.6.2 in the next couple of days. Why TFC is running 1.6.2 vs 1.6.4 I'll never know....

Really like the mod, nice work. I just want to point out a minor visual bug - the durability on armor is rendered below the armor icon itself (lower z value or somthing). Also is there a way to change the font ? Keep up the good work.

Font isn't changeable, unless you change the unicode font for Minecraft (if that's possible). Will investigate the armor thing, it likely is a zlevel issue.

0.1.7 is out now! Get it here! Includes support for rotation of most vanilla HUD objects, simply right click on the object you want to rotate and then click the rotate button. See a full changelog on the Github page!

Not just that (also, that would be thirst), but both screenshots are located in the same world w/same stats. The hunger is also not showing the correct value.

Also, another thing, can you add to the hud a saturation overlay, that shows the saturation you have over the amount of food (Like the hunger bar being orange and yellow at half of the orange, or maybe past the orange).

Numbers are correct for health, see http://terrafirmacraft.com/wiki/Anatomy. The hunger problem is most likely coming from the TFC API using it's own system rather than vanilla's. I will check out the TFC API to see if they have an easy way to check the hunger/thirst stats.
