Here's my biggest problem with this mod; its a major pain in the ___(fill in the blank). You spend hours trudging across the landscape to find large rocks that have obliterated the surroundings just to find a pattern (press) that you've already found. Kinda like FF level grinding. So, you finally find them and go back to base. Pure Certus Quartz Crystal...grinding, waiting. Fluix Crystals...grind away. In a single player game none of these are necessarily that bad, but in multiplayer its almost cruel trying to find the patterns. Documentation, like most mods it seems, is lacking or out of date.
Having said all that, I would like to also add that I do indeed find this new iteration of AE to be fun and appreciate the effort put forth in it but I truly believe that it has been overly complicated
Has the force armour been changed? I have dropped leather armour and right clicks several times and nothing happens. I have also tried upgrading in a crafting grid and nothing.
I have a Big Dig server up and running...sorta. I am currently looking for some testers to help me with setting it up. I am the owner so it makes it hard to test with ranked permissions. You have to be able to stand multiple crashes, restarts, numerous request from me, and most importantly, be able to turn your greifing urges on and off.
