I've been more than interested to know more about the story of Halo 4 since I saw the trailer, like what will be the new threat Master Chief will face in the game. I hope the story will be as good as in the previous games. It's just annoying that the release date is in the end of the year 2012, as I'll still need to wait 1,5 years for it...
I'd prefer the Xbox 360, as I got my first 360 in January 2006, just a couple months after the release, a year ago I managed to sell it and get the new slim model 360. (the old one was pretty noisy and had overheating problems) The new one is quiet.
The reasons because I prefer the 360 are that it has some awesome games that are exclusive to Xbox, such as the Halo series, Forza Motorsport, Alan Wake etc. And you can listen to your own music from an USB stick while playing a game (and I do it a LOT). I tried it on a PS3, didn't work.
I've got some experience on the PS3 too, as I have a lot of friends who have it. The controller feels kind of uncomfortable in my hands, compared to that of the 360. That could be because I'm not used to playing on the PS3, though.
Pet dogs would be pretty nice, but I'd really like a possibility to turn torches and/or lightstone on/off, like when being away from your house, you could turn the lights off and turn them on again when coming back. The only bad thing about it is that the monsters will spawn in dark rooms :/ so it would be cool if there was an possibility to prevent mobs from spawning in the house when the lights are off, like sponge in Creative Mode, that prevents water from flowing in. I don't think that would be added to the game anytime soon, but it would be a nice feature anyway. I hope the toggleable lights will be added soon though.
And cars would be awesome too, because I'll usually have to use the ''setspeed'' command of SPC when I need to get to the other side of my save fast. (The distances are pretty long on my saves)
I usually get the resources myself (if they're easy enough to get). But sometimes I hack resources, especially when I'm building huge buildings which need hundreds of blocks, or when I'm building a brick house (I build them often 'cause I like them and I rarely find enough clay), or I need lots of stone (too lazy to smelt all the cobble :tongue.gif:)
Yes, but I think I solved the problem: I had IBus on, and seems that it won't let me use the keyboard in Java applications, like Minecraft. I used Terminal to disable IBus. So now I can play Minecraft again! :smile.gif:
I'm on Ubuntu 10.10, and I've been playing Minecraft on it for some days. Everything has worked fine, except the game sounds didn't sometimes work.
Well, today I started Minecraft and loaded one of my gamesaves, and found out that I couldn't move at all! I couldn't access my inventory or jump, either. I could only use the mouse to remove or place blocks, look around, or scroll my item quickbar.
I tried to plug in my old keyboard, and the same thing happened.
I tried to update Minecraft too, but it has no effect.
Could somebody help me please? :sad.gif:

I visited my friend's house about two months ago, and he was playing Minecraft. I got instantly interested in the game so I started playing the game, it's my favourite game now.
I had just finished my Christmas tree next to my house, it was 24th of December. I was standing on my house's yard looking towards the tree and suddenly I heard a SSSSSSSS behind and there was a big crater in the ground next to me. I didn't even see the . Thankfully my house wasn't damaged. I don't know how the creeper managed to get in my yard as it's surrounded by a big wall made of cobblestone. Probably the creeper just wanted to admire the Christmas tree. :biggrin.gif:
And today I was walking around in my yard and was surprised to see a creeper standing right next to my house.
It spotted me and started coming towards me. I ran quickly in my house and went to get my bow and arrows. Then I went outside where the creeper was waiting to me. I shot it with the bow, and it did nothing. It just stared at me. I shot it a couple of times and then it started moving. Then I killed it.
