I've made a map to help out some people with the "on a rail" achievement in minecraft. This was made by me, Mattryan44.

To download the map: (video link coming soon)
1. Download the .rar file.
2. Make a new map on minecraft.
3. Go into the minecraft saves file and find the new map you just made.
4. Go into the saves file, and extract the files from the .rar into the world save you just made.
5. Get on minecraft.
6. Go on that world.
7. Put down the minecart found in the chest, push it and quickly get in.
8. Enjoy the ride!
9. Come back here and comment telling me how it was or worked.
TIP: Play on peaceful when doing this, you don't want zombies attacking you at night.... also you should ride at night... I removed light blocks on grass so no animals should get in your way then :biggrin.gif:.... If the animal stops you you have to go back to the beginning.... I'm not responsible for anyone stopping due to animals in your way...

yeah the title says it all... i can make big buildings, towns for your smp server... ive been playng minecraft since it came out and i have some personal touches when building amazing buildings for all to see. i dont mind if you make me even START building up your server... there is no cost, i just like to have my creations shown to many people. The one thing that i do require is to be able to come in and out of your server frequently, even when the initial building is done just to check up on things. if you would like me to help build on your server i am available weekends from 10am-9pm est.
on weekdays its more like 3pm-6pm est then 7pm-9pm est... (i have school, and i eat dinner with my family :tongue.gif:)

Hey guys this is my first custom map i have made, and i made it have sort of a story behind it...
The rules are as follows: you can break blocks as you wish, this is like just downloading a new map that someone else has built on... i have hid 1 gold apple and 4 cakes under some clay so look out for it :tongue.gif: use all tools given to you and choose your difficulty. take the items from ONE chest and one only.... you may use the house i have made as your first shelter from teh baddies. follow what the signs say you you could easily be on your way to adventure!
Storyline: You have just sailed from Great Britain and have found a new home. Indians have already come to this place and have left you with some items, and buildings. You will come across the mountain troll village, and a deep misterious abandoned mine. But look out, because there will be many enemy's in your way.
Note#1: this is your shelter, use it wisely... it is not totally finished and spiders can easily climb into your house from the roof. Use the wood given to you to finish the top layer of the house and keep yourself safe... and with the daylight you have left, you should find some coal to light up your house even more.
Task#2: You have come across an abandoned mine from what seems like centuries ago. if what your buddies say is right, then there will be a long lost treasure yet to be found... (and also a nice refreshing underwater spring :biggrin.gif: )
Go down the mine and light your way...
Task#3: there will be a note on a tree i have left for you to see... read it very carefully. (yeah that rhymed a lot lol)
You will have to follow the torches i have set down for you to see, light up your way i hope it will do. Find the mountain trolls hideout and seige it to see what lurks beneath it you will be surprised indeed.
The mountain troll's note: You see the hideout in the distance ( as long as you don't have much fog on :tongue.gif:) and you rush to see what hides beneath the dirty place.
End of storyline... for now at least....
yeah guys this i just made in like id say 6 hrs? yeah i worked pretty hard on it... hope you find it a challenge :tongue.gif: (if not use the insane difficulty chest :biggrin.gif: ). i WILL be adding more, just wait... i need some ideas though because im all out :tongue.gif:. by the way, if you liked the map please tell me... it encourages me to make more, and better maps that i could work on even more frequently. So for now i guess its goodbye :tongue.gif:
