I keep staring at the 100MEU part of the challenge. I can picture all sorts of ways to generate the power, but without being able to see the storage, I really want some type of metric for determining how far along it is.
So I am curious, do most people just take a 'when it is done it is done' approach, or find some way to monitor?

Ok, I'm reading the instructions, and it says "forge 3.3.7.135" because of optifine incompatibility, but optifine 1.2.5_HD_C6 is compatable with forge 3.3.8.152
Can I bump both of those up to the current versions (from 3.3.7.135 forge and 1.2.5_HD_C3) without causing instability in the "chicken core" or "NEI"
Just how insane would I have to be, to try to get this running with just magic launcher, or should I bite the bullet and learn how to use MultiMC?

A while, it took me about 32 hours my first playthrough, 30 my second, 26 my third, and 18 my fourth, Goal is 16 for this playthough, going to try to get it down as low as possible, but yeah, a while.

im playing the insanity map and i got stuck, i just finished bronze age.
I could either try the one with the gates (i lack cactus)
or the advanced machines (i lack glowstone)
i checked and there is no recipe to get glowstone with gold dust and restone.
What can i do???

How am I suppose to get cactus green for the diamond AND/OR Gates in the Gated Logic challenge in insanity mode?!? Can you get cactus green from IC2 Plant crossbreeding?

Rewards open up at the "tunnel" like areas on the beast. just go to the colored "tunnel" corresponding with that challenge

you can get glowstone from a collector. its an upgrade of something but I cant remember
