i dont think they would necessarily have to be bigger, just have the model wrap a 'bigger' skin around the current model.
i mean it would double or triple the size of skins due to the doubled or tripled pixels.
the overal proportions wouldnt change, just the amount of pixels we can fit onto the face area would increase.
I suggest an increase to the max amount of pixels that skins consist of, but probably only 2x or 3x as many, this would allow us to add just enough detail to the current model so we could make female skins actually look like women, and have facial features, and clothing details (like **** buttons and jewelry).

i copied the pixel art of the sword ingame on the ground first so i could see a big image when i put it onto the colossus.
