Err... it's a question. Not a suggestion. Or did I miss anything?

Answer: Probably not. Or not just yet. Notch has mentioned before he would like a redstone powered light source but he worries about light calculations (although I'm unsure what he means, since we already power on/off torches by placing/removing them without the light calculations being any kind of trouble). Interview is here.

Jebus people, it wasn't a DDoS attack, it was a DoS attack by means of a SYN flood. You only need one machine for an SYN flood, so why would there be a botnet involved?

There's nothing stopping a SYN flood to be carried out from a distributed system, classifying the attack as a DDoS. In fact, many DDoS have been carried out with SYN floods.

Stracheldaht (link to a Washington University's paper analyzing this tool) is one such botnet tool that conducts several forms of attacks, and the attacker decides which ones he wants to perform (or some, or all). TFN is another one that can conduct distributed SYN floods.

As for the rest of your post, it is quite accurate. I just felt the need to correct that bit.

Bluff or not, It's quite disconcerting that people believe they can actually blackmail a developer into releasing game updates, or that they can make business decisions for the company by trying to force them into doing whatever they want them to do.

It's not the reality of this that bothers me. It's the actual thought that some people have that they own the business the moment they buy a product at 9.95 USD. Which is clearly what those vandals at 4Chan think, whether they actually performed the attack or not.

Meanwhile the DDoS hasn't done much in the way of their pathetic claims:

    I've seen worse business days.

First, I don't care about your world. I would love to see your constructions though. Second, if you don't make an effort to detail what you are trying to do, why should I make an effort explaining anything to you?

Project Game Craft is Also Looking for Moderators for our Forum and Website:[/b]
We will be needing moderators to help moderate the forums, the website, and help sort and upload video submissions to the channel. We currently have some openings, and if you would be interested in helping out by becoming a moderator, please let me know.

Didn't it occur to you that it is rude and shows a certain lack of respect to entice members of this forum into your own forum?

I mean, there's nothing wrong with it if you do it through some other channel. But did you really had to do it here?

There's a series of balance issues that make bread a useless food source. We may try to justify its usage, but the real matter is that bread is inferior in every way to meat... and it shouldn't. I'm positive Notch has detected these balance issues and will eventually turn his attention to it. Here's why, in my opinion:

Bread takes a lot of effort to make, meat comes cheap and fast: Bread requires building a farm, crafting hoes, work the fields, waiting for crops to grow, and crafting. That's a lot of work for 2.5 hearts.

Bread has no inventory advantage over meat: Granted, wheat stacks. But you don't eat wheat. You eat bread, and bread doesn't stack. So, there's a minimum of 2 inventory spaces you are required to use up for bread; a wheat stack and a crafting table to take with you inside the mines. It just so happens, 2 slices of meat is usually what most of us need to take to a relatively long expedition in a mine.

Bread imposes limitations on building creativity, otherwise its a high maintenance food source: The one problem that annoys me the most; Because I want to have grass in my greenhouse for aesthetic purposes, I will be forced to contend with farm animals spawning inside and ruining the crops. By not using grass, I solve the problem of farm animals. But I didn't solve the problem of making a greenhouse how I want.

In our quest to justify all the work that goes into producing bread, we may want to turn a blind eye to these problems and happily advertise the minor advantages (like "but wheat stacks") as bigger advantages than they really are. It's all fine. But MInecraft and its combat system aren't really compatible with a food source that heals so little and actually demands of the player to craft it on the go.

Breads either needs to see its healing power further reduced, but made stackable, or it must become the 4 heart healer and pork meat be made the cheap 2.5 healer. With the introduction of new monsters and the apparent increase of combat frequency (monsters will start to spawn under light conditions when before they couldn't). This will only increase the problem even further.

Anyone else out there quirky enough to play completely vegetarian? Wheat is a much more efficient to carry material, and you can get the same nutrition out of one stack of wheat that you can out of 15 squares of pork chops.

Are you sure? Because you need to carry a crafting table to make bread. And bread doesn't stack. So the process goes more or less like this:

    - Monster hits you, you are almost dead
    - You eat bread. You recover 2.5 hearts
    - Monster hits you again, you are almost dead
    - You ask the monster to wait a bit while you go craft another bread

    With meat:
    - Monster hits you, you are almost dead
    - You eat meat. You heal 4 hearts
    - You kill monster.

The sounds are entirely random, or so it seems. You may hear them even inside your house, or out in the open during daylight. You may hear them on well known areas, where before there was no sound. I have never detected a pattern to them. Except for one case:

It seems you get a higher possibility of firing a creepy sound when looking from a lit area into a darker area. I seem to detect a larger frequency of creepy sounds when this happens.

It's just incredible. The uselessness of your video, the crap voice quality, the sheer stupidity of suggesting people to place this noise making device in their house to annoy others, when that will obviously annoy them too.

The mental diarrhea that you have to have experienced to turn you into a retard must have been extreme.

On that, no. Normal is just a tad bit easier than Hard. And, FIY, difficulty modes don't affect mob spawn rate or frequency.

3 spiders, one mounted perhaps? Ok, 4 spiders, 2 mounted. Extreeemely rare, but doable. Toss in a few zombies for good measure. Just never admit you got killed when you feel off a ledge trying to hit a chicken.
