Man, I'm having tremendous difficulty in creating my texturepack; I use GIMP and I was attempting to make an arched cobblestone path texture for my diorite block, and it's so hard. I've watched tutorial videos on how to make texture, even how to create seamless texture and I'm still struggling. There was this beautifully arched cobblestone path pattern I took from google and attempted to work on it. I would try to crop a square of it, and try to adjust it to fit on my 64 by 64 minecraft cube and it would end up looking blurry or with fewer pixels. Every time after I square crop a piece from a picture, and try to make it 64 by 64 it would look blurry. and i have other problems too. may you please help me? maybe show me a tutorial? im sorry if thats too much to ask for
Glim. I’ve started editing your texture pack to suit my tastes. I’ve been using gimp (do you use gimp? What do you use?). I was wondering where do you get these textures for the blocks? Is there a website for them? What is do is look up seamless textures on google images to download them. Is that fine?
I am currently a personal texture pack that is largely derived from you. I’m currently editing the pink terra-cotta to resemble pink plaster walls you’d see on baroque apartments and buildings and palaces that have brightly colored plaster walls. I’m attempting to create a baroque architecture texture pack. Type into google search - baroque St. Petersburg. You’d see images of neoclassical buildings and palaces with brightly colored walls. I want to change the terra-cotta blocks to resemble those brightly colored plaster walls common in baroque style buildings. I want to build a neoclassical baroque city in Minecraft using a custom texture pack to make it look like St. Petersburg in Russia, or some 18th century polish city. Can you give me suggestion?
Glim. How on earth did you create this resource pack? Did you use some kind of program? Did you code? Was making this painstaking and difficult? - it looks tedious to produce; Are there any videos, websites or something you could refer me to that instruct how make a pack? Was it time-consuming?
I always wanted to create my own resource-pack and wanted to update it and edit it in my way. Please help.
