not an immediate fix, but if you own the server, you should have access to a console. you can simply execute commands from there.
So this is what I get when I tried to enter "/gamemode s"
Edit: Okay, I just had to be logged in to specify myself as the user. Clicked over to game client, bottom left hand corner got a message along the lines of "game mode changed to survival" but was still unable to craft.
Edit 2: I went ahead and downloaded NBTExplorere. I looked at both "playerGame Type: 0 and Game Type: 0" both are on survival. So I'm not sure what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit 3: I changed all player data and game type to 1 now, able to see items, but still can't craft.
My cousin and I have decided to come back after a while. Can't remember what patch I was on. Currently using McMyAdmin. Restarted server multiple times, updated both McMyAdmin to 2.7.0.2 and Minecraft to 1.12.2.
I've made a new world folder, I've tried to change world to "/gamemode s/0", but just get red text saying I don't have permissions to do so. I've added myself to all fields under "users and groups", "open to LAN" is grayed out as well so I can't enable cheats. I'm stuck. I'd really love some help.
Wait was this resolved? I use to play with my cousin a lot. We decided to come back after a while.
