Have you checked if the graphics drivers are up to date. You might also check if the PC is overheating, or you might need to clean out the dust bunnies.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: ID is already registered: 27 at net.minecraft.entity.EntityList.func_75618_a(EntityList.java:94) at cpw.mods.fml.common.registry.EntityRegistry.registerGlobalEntityID(EntityRegistry.java:199)
at com.valentin4311.candycraftmod.CandyCraft.doConfig(CandyCraft.java:713)
The easiest way to fix it is to remove Candycraft. Its a beta version anyways.
The longer way is to make a new Profile and reload the mods a few at a time, starting with Candycraft, to see the other mod that is in conflict. Then decide which mod you want to keep.
Can you post a link to where you got the Twitch Modpack thing?
I think they mean they updated Forge through the (now) Curseforge app. You don't need to individually download and install Forge separately if your using the Curseforge app.
Dang, was hoping it was a more lightweight mod like OpenBlocks or Extra Utilities. :-/
Edit: I checked two Ars Magica wikis and found no reference to such a block. Please don't troll.
It's not a troll, the block is called a lectern and has the secondary function of displaying books for ease of access. http://am2.wikia.com/wiki/Lectern

Did you look in the crash-reports folder for a crash report?

Your missing a mod:
Mod darkutils (Dark Utilities) requires [bookshelf@[2.3.573,)]
Add that mod to the mods folder.

Post the crash report or some kind of logs. We have no idea either what's going on.

This is the problem:
# Problematic frame:
# C [msvcr100.dll+0x3c1b0]
Try this:
1. Install the latest version of Java on the PC.
2. Change the Java version in the MC launcher to the version on the PC.
