Your best bet for modded MC is to use the same version for MC, Forge and the mods. I haven't heard any news about 1.16 mods working together. In MC's history, there have only been a few sub-versions that have worked together (ex: 1.7.4 and 1.7.10). It all depends on how Forge has been written for a specific version.

Bugs and glitches are part of snapshots. You can report this to Mojang or just use a full release of the game.

Also post a DXDiag Report. Newer versions of MC require newer hardware.

I'm not sure if mod generated mobs follow the same rules for new block generation, but try going to new areas you haven't discovered yet.

Look for modpacks that contain the mod. Try the Curseforge website.

Run the basics:
1. Is MC properly installed?
2. Did you make a vanilla world to make sure that works properly?
3. Did Forge install properly?
4. Is the Profile using Forge?
5. Did you make a world with just Forge first (no mods)?
6. Forge will create the extra folders you'll need, including the mods folder.
7. Is the mods you want the same version as MC and Forge (for example 1.10.2)?
8. Did you copy the mod files whole (no unzipping, extracting, ect.) into the mods folder?
