About Me
I love mods. I play with quite a list of them in fact, Redpower 2, Buildcraft, Forestry, Railcraft, Iron Chests, Logistics Pipes, Ender Chests (Great for use with Buildcraft), Rei's Minimap, Portal Gun (when possible), NEI, and Wireless Redstone (Chicken Bones addition of course). I also play TerraFirma Craft on a separate instance using MultiMC.
I run a personal server for my RL friends to play on that runs most of the above mods, though it's not open to the public, and I won't allow anyone on that I don't personally know. We try our best to strike a balance between convenience and balance, but that's not so easy with all the mods that are out there. Mods like Equivalent Exchange, which are really fun to play with, but basically end with you playing in creative mode even when you're in survival mode, are too much for us, and we don't use them. Mods like Industrial Craft which allow you to double your ore output also make resource gathering a little too easy for us.
