The 650ti competes at an entirely different price point than the 7770. It's also faster by a smidgen. While I must compare the OP's argument style and reading comprehension skills to that of a first grader, the 650ti is a fine choice for a gaming rig -- It's just at a $20 higher price point.

You should have realised that there are two different graphs that are scaled for two different cards, but coming from a person that said a 650 ti is 17 times faster than my card and that a 590 slower than a 650 ti this is nothing surprising.

That's not four times faster? It still plays most stuff that I throw at it on high with low or no AA at 1680x1050. Old? Definitely. Outdated? Not quite.
Im not trying to say that yours is horrible and stuff, but if you notice... even if the 5770 is par with the 7750 (which I personally dont think it is, though its sort-of similar) notice that the GTX 590 is way above the 7750, and the 650 ti, is overall better than the 590 (in all ways) so Im just saying, that the 650 ti should run things pretty well. Like I said Im not trying to bash on your card but when you say "That's exactly what you are doing. You will probably run into pretty severe bottlenecks in an year or two but it'd be pretty decent for now." Then Im just trying to show you that this will run games well. Think about it, if Im getting a graphics card thats better than the 5770 and you can play games on your 5770, mine should run well. Plus I can always get a new graphics card within a few years.

Editing your post. That's just great, a Titan is about 4 times faster than a 5770, if the 650 ti that costs one eigth of that and is over four times more powerful it must be incredibly good value.

You're pretty much building a new computer if you're upgrading that. I don't have an i7 or a Titan, I have an X4 620 and a 5770. You're getting a system that has a slightly better CPU(negated by the fact that I have a slight overclock) and a slightly better GPU three years later, good luck. It's a bit faster, but both cards are more than capable of running Minecraft. Tigerdirect likes to give returned products as new ones so I'd get the card somewhere else.

The extra $2 after rebate isnt a big deal to have it all arrive from one site, and in one package, all at once. (Plus, this is less to pay out of pocket even if it IS $2 more after the rebate) I think by "MFR" you mean "Manufacturer" but not sure.
