Looked like a fun place, until I was slaughtered by a random player about 5 minutes after joining. Should list it as a PVP server if it is one. :sad.gif:
Well, it's kinda iffy. There's the people that believe it in a heartbeat, and the people that shun it instantly. Or course, there's a ton of fakes out there, so you have to understand why some people act as they do. But I really don't know about herobrine. There's nothing to say it's real really, but there's nothing to say it isn't.
Except for the fact that Notch has said it is fake and there is nothing similar to herobrine in the files or coding of the game...
I'm actually interested in creating a texture pack and have been looking for ideas.
I used to do a lot of pixel art a few years ago, so I think I may be able to work something out. I'll keep this post updated if I do!
OP is referring to the fact that the skeleton shot so many arrows and missed all the shots (thus the reference to terrible aim in both the screenshot and the post itself), and is implying the skeleton is new to the job of being an archer skeleton.
I play on an offline SMP server with my roommate and my boyfriend. We build things together or near each other, and sometimes grief each other lightly. It's fun, but we already know each other IRL so I never get to meet new people, so I feel you on the loneliness.
Every time I've tried to find a public SMP server, I get killed repeatedly or my stuff gets destroyed as fast as I can get it up.
This is an airship I built after a bout of insomnia a few nights ago. No mods or invedits or anything, and I fell off it and died about 5 times overall (yes, I know about crouching). I am pleased with it overall, despite its small size and simple construction. It is located in the valley between my house and my boyfriend's house. I made it while he slept and surprised him with it the next morning.
It was loosely based on the galleon, but I obviously took some liberties to make it easier and smaller (as I didn't have that much airspace in the area I wanted to build). The anchor was originally going to be on the ground, but the fence column kept disappearing visually when I'd get about halfway down. I settled for having it hanging off the side, and billowed the back sail accordingly to (hopefully) imply that the anchor was being used to keep the boat from blowing over.
The night after I made it, my roommate logged on and added an NPC guard named Jack Sparrow. No pictures of him, as he just has the default player style, but I thought it was funny. If I had known he was going to do that, I'd have made the sails black.

That makes sense, except that the server wasn't set to peaceful until a day after it was created, and the chunk I am exploring was already created before the change.
Another dungeon I found this morning had a zombie spawner in it. =\
While searching for diamonds on fresh SMP server, I came across a dungeon with a pig spawner inside. The server is currently running on peaceful mode, so nothing is being spawned, but the spinning model inside is definitely a pig. The server is run offline, on a local connection, by my roommate and myself. It is mod-free and it was 100% a natural, untouched dungeon (before I pillaged it, at least).
I searched and found topics about pig dungeons and natural pig spawners, and people seemed to think it was impossible or a result of inventory edits, mods, or other such tomfoolery. In most cases, they proclaimed that the people claiming to have found such things were trolling.
Heck, I would have thought the same thing until I found this dungeon myself.
Anyone else find any pig dungeons? Are there any other natural, peaceful animal dungeons?
Also found a Steve Co. box nearby. It's been an interesting morning!
oh, just wondering, I know sombies and stuf like them can climb ladders but can spiders? notch may not have thought of that and they glitch up when climbing the same surface twice at once.

I'm not sure if it was intended, but before the last update they sure did.
This is my treefort. The only way up is that ladder. My boyfriend was on his way to check it out a few weeks ago when he noticed a spider climbing up into my open front door. Neither of us had seen that happen before.
Obviously that could be changed now due to the changes in spider AI, but they could at one point.
