how about, to reduce compatibility issues even more, changing the "uk" class to something like" nethmod", or something that no other mod developer would use
You can't drown in water unless you completely take your hands off the keyboard and sit there doing nothing, that is in no way a hazard AT ALL.
Edit: Come to think of it, lava is barely a hazard too. The only way to get knocked into lava that doesn't involve the player doing dumb things (such as mining out the blocks you're standing on) is being hit by mobs, and even then if you're not paying attention to your surroundings then you can expect to die.
I'll let someone else explain how the rest of your post is wrong (well, the "AIs are either sentient or 100% dumb and there is nothing in-between" science fiction nonsense, anyway).
All mods in 1.3 onwards will have to be SMP; so some mods will die due to limitations but others like TC3 will make the jump.
Why the hate for Tekkit/Technic? Simple - never ask for permission - they assume it's fine then tell the mod maker that they have done it. Additionally there is the issue of updating - Tekkit/Technic users are unable to update their client until their mod bundle updates 0 these means Modder's end up with threads filled with this kind of comment:
"Why does [Insert old solved error here] happen on my Tekkit/Technic game? FIX IT"
I have nothing against the idea of Technic/Tekkit but it's implementation and management is flawed. If you want to be able to run with the updates and get the full feel for TC3+ - learn to mod your own client.
Adding more than 3 or 4 mods to minecraft is hardly an easy task. Unless you are willing to learn to code, and have the time make mods compatable with each other, its nearly impossible to get all the good mods you want to work together. I would make my own personal "mod pack", and i have tried many times, but I always end up with a long error message, that often times only appears for an instant before dissapearing
in technic, i had a shitton of expensive ee stuff, thousands of diamonds worth, but i forgot to get the lava penent thing (with makes u immune to fire and lava) i was mining with a destruction catalist, i used a divining rod under me, found uranium (more valuble than diamond) but there was lava underneath, and my jet pack ran out of charge, just before i made it out of the hole the destructuion catlyst made. i litrally had to start from the begining.
How about the best? I like pumpkins being near by, in a plains biome, but very close to jungle, and extreme hills, a forest fairly near, snow fairly near, with easy access to an ocean, with npcs relatively far awayOh, and close to a desert
If I don't deliberately go exploring, the fairest I go above ground is 300 from spawn. If I venture far, a day and night of travel out is the limit, but my tunnels go fartherWtf?!?'!?!?!?! I did not realize I talked like that
In single player, I usually get around 15ish, go on muiltiplayer, forget what I was doing, and delete the world. In multiplayer, if I haven't traded them all, I'd have 20,30ish.
