I'm running the server on my laptop and I try to keep it up as much as possible. Most of the time it is online during the day (~9 in the morning to midnight) and offline when I sleep :smile.gif:
Here's the IP if people want to take a look at the server (the IP is subject to change really soon) : 184.163.235.79:25565
Ya, the server is still up but as I'm writing this post the server is empty... but you can still do a tour of arenas that have been built (some of them are not completed yet) or visit the forum link posted above (a little bit more updated info then here).
There should be a little bit more rules on the server Itanthias is hosting... because actually the server is ravaged with worldedit, there is constructions everywhere, etc....
I made a small map with two forteress (mirror) and which is designed for small teams of players (including the warr, the archer, the builder, the pyro and the torchguy).
The goal is the same as the goal of the previous map, aka break the gold block of the opposite forteress and put a redstone torch instead of it.
Each forteress has two ways to acess the gold block. But, it's not so easy, before being able to access the gold block, you need to break (or burn) a set of 2 "wooden doors" (made of plank). It sounds a like bit complicted without pictures... so here's one :
I don't know if it has been done before, but I found a way to collect all the reeds with the use of only one row of sticky pistons (with 2 more) and by using a simple water flow.
*The pistons are behind the wool
Actually, when you trigger the circuit it creates a canal where most the reeds from the 3rd row falls in (above the white wool, between the stone and the glass). At the same moment a water flow is release by a piston in the center and it brings all the reeds in the main canal.
100% collection rate + you can make it auto if you use a 10 mins clock and some delay (to give the time to the reeds to fall in the main canal)...
I'll post more pictures if you guys are interested
Actually, the slime spawn rate shouldn't be increase. Only, the way they spawn should be changed (instead of having people on one side saying that slimes are annoying because they spawn too much and on the other, people complaining because they can't find any).
The problem is preventing the 3rd reed block from falling on the grass without using a second layer of pistons (which lower the efficiency per piston but keep a smaller size).
This automated reed farm is pretty nice with the use of a long delay restone circuit (block decay maybe...)
Btw, you should make a two blocks space between the 2 rows of reed because sometimes the reeds are pushed 2 blocks away by pistons

This map would be good for small teams and quick matches
