If you want crazy performance, 1080p screen, and crazy battery life in a slim form factor look at the upcoming Samsung Series 7 Chronos (new one, not out in North America yet). It'll cost around $1800, so quite a bit of a stretch, but will have amazing performance specs and battery life.
M4 is really for budget wise. The write speeds are very slow on the smaller size drives.
