What kind of server is this?This is a pure survival-based server with mostly no plugins affecting how you would normally play singleplayer or a vanilla server. Our plugins are mainly to help construct the map and to prevent griefing of any sort.
How do I join?When you first join the server, you do not have any permission to build. This is to prevent griefing and to sort out the people who really do want to play on a survival server from those who come on just to mess around with people. In order to join, you must first fill out a small app that will be supplied to you below.
Please join the server at least once before posting an app!(I cannot promote you unless you have joined the server before)

Though there were signs that the owner is a dishonest, money-hungry **** such as:

Edit: Here are a few other ways to build them, these 2 don't need a redstone block or a sticky piston, just 1 redstone dust and 4 redstone torches.

SOTF (Survival of the Fittest) is an aging community with new and mature players. Rules:
1. Do not grief ANYTHNG.
2. PvP is disabled so do not try to kill anyone
3. Do not build floating houses, be realistic
4. Do not leave floating trees, cut them all the way
5. Do no ask for OP/Admin/Items/Creative otherwise you will be muted and/or jailed
6. Do not harass other players, treat everyone with respect.
7. There is to be no excessive swearing (minimal is allowed)
8. Do not exploit bugs found within the game or plugins, you will be penalized to my liking's.
Note:
There are several other rules to follow on the server, please use these as your basic guidelines.
