posted a message on Low FPS on a good computer

I've had a problem with my FPS for a while now. I've tried pretty much every trick in the book and nothing seems to help. Basically, Minecraft runs at about 30-50 FPS on Windowed mode and 10 FPS on Fullscreen. Changing the graphics settings doesn't help. I have Optifine downloaded and it doesn't do anything either. Java and Drivers are all up to date. I also have Minecraft installed on my SSD. This started happening all of a sudden many months ago and I haven't found any solutions. Minecraft has run perfectly fine before with over 100 FPS on fullscreen.

    My specs are:

    GeForce GTX1060 6gb

    Intel Core i5 6500 3.20Ghz

    6gb of RAM

    Windows 10

    I have tried the following:

    - Allocating more RAM to Minecraft (it usually only uses about 1,8-2,1gb but I set it to 3)

    - Reinstalling Minecraft and Optifine multiple times

    - Inserting -Xincgc -Xmx2048M to the Java Runtime Parameters

    - Lowering graphics settings

    - Playing the game on my 2nd monitor (same problem)

    - Removing fullscreen optimization from "OpenJDK Platform binary" on Task Manager, and running as administrator

    - Giving Minecraft high priority on Task Manager

    - Closing other demanding programs, such as Chrome

I attached two screenshots showing my F3 stats in game, both windowed and fullscreen. The game is playable on windowed mode but I'd very much like to know why it's not running properly.

I can't reach my screenshots in any way so I took a picture with my phone. Also i tried disconnecting my 2nd monitor and the lag was gone .

posted a message on Intense lag

So all of a sudden my game started lagging like crazy, especially in the title screen. It started when I opened Minecraft one day and because of the lag I was unable to play. Also my 2nd screen goes black and stutters heavily when Minecraft is running. I've tried different versions but changing it doesn't work. Restarting the PC was also ineffective. My PC is fairly high end and Minecraft worked just well a couple days ago.
