    Not knowing where to go with a question like mine, I'll just put it here.

    My first modpack, back in the day, was the YogBox in which one particular mod gave me countless hours of enjoyment (Thaumcraft 2),

    Since i've made my own personal 1.5.2 version of the yogbox I wish to also bring back as many of the textures as i possibly can. my question is this: how do i get the old thaumcraft 2 crystal texture


    So i can replace the thaumcraft 3 crystal blocks

    I'm currently using the painterly pack that came with the original yogbox back in the day, updated using the tools jeb made and released, all i'm missing is a few textures hence why i'm here.

    Mojang is fully within their rights to take what ever they wish from modmakers and put it into their base game, nothing wrong with that.

    Honestly, I would say that putting more content into their base game is equally as (if not more so) important then the modding api. if for no other reason then to have a much more "full" game.

    2) load game, start a test world
    3) when in game , hit "E" to bring up the NEI inventory screen
    4) hit "Options" bottom left
    5) click "Tools"
    6) click "Data Dumps"
    7) click the "all Option" on all the buttons,
    8) click "Dump" buttons
    9) close the game, and open the .minecraft directory. in there is a "Dumps" folder. Open up the items.csv file with a text editor.
    there are all the used and free ID in use in the game.
    10) put biomes o plenty back in the mods folder
    11) open up the biomes o plenty cfg file in the config folder and change the block IDs to free ones from the item.csv file
    12) PROFIT!

    It really isn't stealing tho, since the code belongs to mojang in the end.

    What makes it so great is that there is a small cave right near the spawn that also leads down into a ravine that connects into many other ravines.

    As a person that couldn't care less about minecraft modding I must say that I am very happy with all the new content being put in the base game. (as it should be, since a game should be judged on its own merits and not how moddable it is)
