To the people who say "this generation's" music sucks compared to "back in the day", let me tell you something: There has always been good music, and there's always been shitty music. The good music is remembered, and everybody forgets about the shitty music because it was...well...shitty. That's why "back in the day" seems like it was nothing but pure gold when in fact it wasn't.

Nobody's going to remember **** like Lady Gaga or Ke$ha in 50 years either, trust me.

I disagree with the statements that go "guns being legal makes it easier for criminals to get them". Since when do laws stop criminals? Criminals break laws, that's why they're called criminals. Laws in general only work on people who follow them. It's against the law here to drink alcohol under 21, but I still did. It's against the law to buy cigarettes for people under 18 but I still did. If I were the type to commit murder I don't think laws against me having a gun or against murder would stop me. And even if it were illegal to sell guns I'd just be able to get them from the black market.

And that's another thing, "Guns cause crime" is untrue. Alcohol doesn't cause drunk driving, people who make selfish and irresponsible choices cause drunk driving. Gambling doesn't cause debt, people who are irresponsible and foolish with their money cause gambling debt. Same with guns.

In any case I live in Oklahoma and there are a lot of guns here...I've been told lots of people having guns is a bad thing but right now I'm far more worried about the economy than getting shot. So meh :/

I'd also recommend an aftermarket cooler for your CPU. It does come with a stock one...but those suck. Even if you aren't overclocking, they're horrible. If you have a large enough case you should check out the Noctua NH-D14, it's pricey at about $90 but well worth it.

As others have said, that's not a powerful laptop at all. ~2GB of RAM is too little, I'd recommend at least 4. And graphics card...I'm willing to bet yours is integrated judging from the other specs.

Velociraptors are a waste of money now that SSDs are common. 'Raptors are much pricer than Caviar Blacks but aren't that much faster. Aaaand they're also loud and hot. Small SSD for OS + Caviar Blacks for data = win.
