You guys are all sooooo "smart" you can retrieve ice in survival mode. USE A SILK TOUCH PICKAXE! Then place it near glowstone.. But I heard the water still vaporizes idk I'm testing it today
I took all at once cuz I broke the chest when I tried to pillar out of the room. I guess I should have pillared from another block but I didn't. So I payed the price. I didn't want to lose all the work I did to set up my position, so I "cheated" myself in an orange block. I know I won't have a clean win, but I'll still finish the map and have as much fun as I can.
You could have held shift, jumped then placed a block on top of the chest to get out.
From ashes is an adventure map, the only part that makes it CTM is the difficulty and the ability to break blocks. I tried it and really didn't like it.
No... I'm pretty sure it's a CTM map. It has dungeons, where each has a different wool and a Monument to place them on.
Finally after many deaths (about 10-20) I have completed this map. Really enjoyed it, I like the Replica Monument idea.
The map was well balanced, you gave out enough resources that I didn't have to farm a lot. Plenty of coal, never had to mine any. The Replica's were placed well so you that will not miss them unless you're not paying attention.
All of the areas looked aesthetically pleasing. In Shardveil Cove maybe supply one or two more stacks of ladders, as I had to make more. With the islands leading to I4, the Jump Boost potions were cool even though I kept missing and falling into the ocean.
In Armpit of the World, once you fall into the big pit/cave is there an easy way out or do you have to pillar back up to the tunnels?
Finally, Everdark Atlas this area looked very good, I unluckily did the same thing as most other people did and went through the bottom dungeon first . I ended up pillaring up and digging thorugh the wall to the top big room.
Overall, one of the best CTM maps I've ever played, very enjoyable not to hard or easy. 9/10
Hmmm, I honestly don't remember. I played without using any bookshelves for enchanting at all, probably because I haven't seen anymore books available.
The only area I can think of for there to be bookshelves is Avalon Fortress, however, I'm not 100% sure about this.
Ahh, yes there was bookshelves in Avalon Fortress. Thanks for your help. Only 4 blocks left. (3 wool and Emerald block)
There are some in the little house dungeon on Bleakshale Falls. There is also a 'Librarian' special tool nearby, which is a silk touch wooden axe for collecting those bookshelves.
Do you know of any other areas that have bookshelves, since I've already got the bookshelves from Bleakshale Falls.

My guess for the starter area is Meteor Crater. Is it right?
