posted a message on menu word color

As usual the perfect answer. Thank You, mate.

This is the approach I took. I was hoping for a slightly less intrusive method.

I have a corollary question. The text in the anvil entry field, it is bright white, can I change the colour?

posted a message on menu word color

    Hi Guys,

I know this is a nooby question. On the menus (ie: crafting table menu) how is the color of the font controlled, if at all. I have some packs where it is white and others it shows as grey. I am not sure why or if I can change it?

    Thanks

I suspect you have semi-transparent pixels around the blade. Not opaque enough to show, but opaque enough to mess up the algorithm that detects the edge of the texture. Remove them and you should be fine.

I've always really liked Arestian Dawn so I'm glad to see that you've taken over. Kyctarnig, I am pleasantly surprised and not a little bit impressed at your skill! All of these texture packs you've revived and you've managed to keep the art style distinct for each one.

    Keep up the great work!

I'm really glad to see all these texture packs still going.

Thank you for that high compliment. I work very hard to keep the styles and pallettes intact. I am still learning so if you have any hints or suggestions, they will be gratefully received. Especially where I make mistakes :)

I tested and It seems to work for me. Please try again. If it fails try here. This is where I store the packs. Please let me know if it fails at CurseForge and I will report the bug.

There is a resource pack that you made and I really liked it but some of the textures in the resource pack wasn't complete and it was still vanilla, the version I used was 1.8.9 and here is the resource pack http://minecraftsix.com/thevoids-ad-reforged-resource-pack/

If you can please let me know when you will finish the textures let me know I really like this resource pack and its the only one I could find that I liked so please if you can download the resourcepack and run your MC are 1.8.9 and you will see the textures that are still vanilla and there are also some mobs that are still vanilla.

As It turns out the link you have is very old. I just released the 1.10 version. Everything is not done yet. I am working on it. It just takes time as I am working very hard to make each texture as close to perfect as I can. Sorry for the slow progress.

posted a message on Source management for resource packs?

    Hi Guys,

I am a former software developer and have used source management and build management software for ages. I want both for my resource packs. Before I make something, I should ask.

Is any developer using a source management and build management system? If so, what tools are you using?

    I appreciate the help

    LOL!!!!

Than you very much Alvoria. Teaches me to start a post when I am exhausted. Your comments on the missing content are now repaired.

As to your comments on the textures. I can only say they are very fair. Thus my plan to take the pack to full 32x32 and give it more consistency. Thank you for the nod to the quality of my work. I have decided to initially release this pack in its mostly original state. I need to bring the fans along with me on this pack. I have a plan and I know when I am done, this pack will bring as much of Red Alert 3 into Minecraft as I humanly can.
