Anytime I try to join a minecraft server it says "connecting to server" followed by "Failed to connect to the server, java.net.connectexception connection timed out no further information:"

This is for any and all servers I try to connect to. I've tried everything I can and have gotten zero progress, please help.

Is the mod going to be updated to use forge instead of MLMP anytime soon? Since most people can't run a server with wireless redstone since almost all mods these days use forge instead of MLMP.

Minecraft works for me again. I can't connect to the server, did it go down? Is it still even going on?

For some reason I can't mod my jar at all. Don't know why, it just stopped working one day. So I wont be on the server till 1.7, perhaps this thing'll be fixed by then.

I wanted to have some sort of way to craft it, then I realized people would just craft money, so by making it uncraftable only ops and admins can spawn it.

This mod should be really easy to make. Basically the mod only introduces 7 items which are all basically the same: money.

It will add a $1 bill, $5 bill, $10 bill, $20 bill, $50 bill, $100 bill, $500 bill, and a $1000 bill. 1 dollar bill cannot be crafted, $5 is crafted with 5 ones, $10 with 2 fives or 10 ones, etc. Also this has to be for Survival Multiplayer, or else its basically useless. Please let me know if you can do this, thanks.

I'm sorry minecraft is just being stupid, can we revert back to sdk v4? (might be the fact that I'm using a mac).

Also now would be a good time to give the server a name,(preferably something without craft in the title but wheatever).

Flan, please please please, for your vehicles, make lava a fuel source. It's much better than having to waste a stack of coal.

Archeleus is being abandoned. Well, at least as a city it is, we are still keeping the land. There are a few reasons why we're abandoning Archeleus. The first is because of a bug that causes anyone in a certain area in the western part of the town to crash. Also, with the addition of the new mod Industrial Craft Archeleus is surprisingly very low tech.
Deconstruction of all buildings of the town is in progress, but will take a while. I know what your thinking "Is this the end of Archeleus?" The answer is no, in fact, quite the opposite. We're expanding.
Plans for the construction of "New Archeleus" are currently underway, but in the mean time we need a lot of resources. Though without a land to control, there will be no government, so what were doing is forming something
along the lines of an Empire. Thus we are declaring the admission of a new Country, Termina. Right now our objective is to gather as many resources as possible, so we've created a small base of operations in some ore enriched lands (newly
generated lands to be specific, with the now IC upgraded world generator, we have to move to not yet generated lands, so it can kick in and generate land enriched with IC ores. As soon as we've gathered enough resources will start on
projects, and eventually, start on the construction of new Archeleus. In the mean time, people are urged to migrate to New Jconnelsville, for it has been rebuilt and has cheap plots available. If your reading this and for some reason
still live in Archeleus pack your things and get ready to move. If you want to get to Jconnels quickly though you'll have to wait. Were currently in the process of building nether tunnels in between the two towns, and soon they will
be open to the public.

Problems to Address

For the moment the SDK guns mod, Flans Plane mod, and Flans vehicles mod have been removed from the server, so trying to access any chests with items from any of those mods in them, you will immediately disconnect from the server.

For the moment, you are not allowed to place stone pipes. Any who does will receive terrible punishment.



Laws

There is a 0 tolerance no griefing policy. If someone is charged of griefing:

If first charge: will be sentenced to death, permanent exile, and will have all of there personal possessions removed.


If you murder another player it is added to your murder count. The higher that count gets the more severe your punishment. Anyone charged with murder (the killing of another player) will be:

If Murder count 1: sentenced to 2 weeks of exile.
If Murder count 2: sentenced to 3 weeks of exile.
If Murder count 3: sentenced to 4 weeks of exile.
If murder count 4 or above: sentenced to permanent exile and death.

Exceptions: If the murder is in self defense. If the person being murdered gives consent to do so to the murderer.

A player may not steal from another player. If someone does:

If First Charge: the convicted will have to pay a 40,000ic fine and return anything stolen to its rightful owner.
If Second Charge: the convicted will have to pay a 200,000ic fine, will be sentenced to 4 days of exile, and will have to return anything stolen to its rightful owner.
If Third Charge: the convicted will be sentenced to permanent exile, pay a 400,000ic fine, and will have to return anything stolen to its rightful owner.

The President may hold a vote with the government council to exile someone for reasons they see fit.

Economy

With the addition of Industrial Craft, our new currency are Industrial Credits, or ic for short. The cR still exists, but we no longer pay using coal, gold, diamonds, etc, instead we pay with ic. Ics are crafted using 1 iron ingot.
Although the credit standard still exists, and its value will never change.

1 credit = 4 Industrial credits = basically one US dollar.

Glossary

Griefing: To destroy anything without permission or to build anything without permission.
Exile: If you are exiled, you are cast out of the city or country your in. If you try to re-enter a place you've been exiled from, you may be shot on sight.

Colored smoke grenade.

Like a smoke grenade but colored and with a bigger radius.

Of course you could do one of those formulas with whatever dye you want.

Also here's an idea for a flare.



It shines 3 times as bright as a torch and has a red glow. Also red smoke comes from it and reaches the sky limit.
