Sometimes it takes time for "chunks" to load you can try one or all the following. Allocate more memory to Java, clear your java cache, clear your minecraft cache, lower your view distance, change your graphic settings, update your video drivers. Its all just depends on how the software and hardware works together to give you the best possible loading of chunks.
Alright, I'll try allocating more memory to Java and clearing the cache. That sounds like it might fix a few things, if not, then it'll make my computer run a little smoother. Hopefully.
The terrain just takes a little while to generate.
I can assure you that is not the problem here. Whenever the land takes a while to generate, it's only a few seconds. This doesn't stop until I exit minecraft, and enter back in. Then, it just does it again 3 seconds after.
Wow, that looks bad. That happens just randomly? Have you tried standing still for awhile? Does it do it for long periods of time? It shouldn't do that, ever.
Hah, yeah. It's pretty bad. Yes, it happens just randomly. Now it's just happening as soon as I enter my world, like 3 seconds after.
1: try pressing f3 and a at the same time
2: is it a texture pack
3: is ti a mod
check the above and then reply
It's not a texture pack, nor mod. I like to play minecraft without mods most of the time, and enjoy texture packs, but I'm too lazy to use them most of the time.
Hello. I've recently been having this problem in Minecraft where the blocks glitch to being transparent, and all I can see is mobs underneath, and water/lava. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to know

Thank everyone else as well, all were good suggestions and tips.

Ah, okay, thanks. I didn't know. I haven't been on minecraft forums in forever. I'll try turning mipmap off, to see if it works.
Okay, I'll try that. Sorry for not noticing you post that the first time.

Are you sure? I haven't done anything to make blocks go transparent, it does it randomly.

Er. This isn't exactly how it is for me. I try to change the resolution, and everything. But it just stays the same.
