Cons i found so far in the 1.8 update,
run speed is the same in the water.
cracking effects are not visible Through water.
hunger is rather fast
never saw a single pig
hundreds of sheep
zombie meat and chicken dont heal health
endermen sometimes just teleport away and never come back
endermen sound like zombies
block feature seems sort of useless saves maybe half a heart.

that being said, let's jump into the issue.
everyone knows about the Faithful 32x32 pack. well, some of you might also know the Soartex 64x64 pack.
I am Running Feed The Beast Unleashed for MC 1.5.2.
my problem is, when i try to switch from Soartex to Faithful, it pauses for a bit then it reverts to original (i can tell it's a working pack because it has an icon of its own but it remains unselected.)
it also stays the default if i try to change from default to faithful. Soartex and Summerfields will work just fine. but both faithful and john smith are refusing to be used by minecraft when i try to select them and just changes to default.
so i know it's something to do with the packs.
my hypothesis is that faithful and John smith have a file in common that the soartex and summerfields dont. or vice versa.
anyone think it could be anything else? Or does anyone know a way to find which file is the culprit?
i've tried unziping the TPs and using a batch file to compare the contents, but theres not a working code on the internet that will look through every subfolder.
any help is appreciated.
