Made a video featuring the DOF shaders and Greenfield (which you can find here.)

Using DOF + water reflections = one hell of a effect. (Particularly at 0:22)

I recently took a trip to the rockies in BC, and I said to myself - hey, why not make my own mountain range?And so I did.



No, it's not complete. But you can download and take a look around on what has already been made!

I STRONGLY recommended that you use optifine with this map. Without extreme render distance, you won't be seeing much. Here are my recommended settings:

Render distance: Maximum
Fog Start: 0.8
Load far: ON
Fast Math: ON
Chunk Loading: Multi-Core

Yes, you will have quite a performance hit, but it's better than not seeing the map at all.

INTRODUCING...

I can see a lot of you want to make your own Hunger Games maps, yet you don't have the terrain or tools to do it. This is essentially a jump start you can use to make your own map

Many different templates will be provided here - download which ever you like and start building! You can use this map in any server, video, or pretty much anything else, just remember to credit me!
This thread will be updated as I continue to make more templates, so please follow the topic!


The Fortress

A small, circular map surrounded by mountains that can be easily expanded. About 500 blocks in diameter, the map comes in normal or snow versions.

Tropical Twist
A series of small tropical islands at sea! Islands can be easily customized and expanded to suit your needs. Water is shallow enough for players to swim in. Without anything added, the map can be a bit empty, but after all, it is a template.

Looking for a map with nothing but slaughtering zombies? This is the map for you, with a little extra!
This map is based off of Combat Arms' Fireteam map, Cabin Fever.











This Map Features:

• 20 Waves, increasing in difficulty (Wave 1 will have 20 zombies, wave 20 will have hundreds)
• 3 Unlockable Floors
• Special Weapons and Armor

• Spawning Potions
• Hidden Exits and Passageways
• 1 Hour of Zombie-Slaying Fun!

This map is an exact replica of the Combat Arms map, and it's designed to function the same way.

Objective: Defend the Cabin and stay alive for all 20 waves!

Extra Challenges:

• Collect 50 Levels of exp without dying.
• Collect 10 Iron Ingots.
• Find 10 Carrots.
• Complete the entire map without going outside.

This Map Is Recommended for 2-8 Players, however you can play with any amount of people.
(Note: If you have more than 8 players, there will not be enough equipment in the chests for you)

It is strongly recommended that you play this map on a non-bukkit server. Some plugins such as
Essentials mess with the command blocks. If you are having problems, make sure you are NOT running
a bukkit server first, before asking for help.

Known Bugs:
Zombies will stutter as if on a server, even if on singleplayer. This is simply because singleplayer runs LIKE server now. Nothing I can do about that :/

Zombies will sometimes crowd together in circles, because of glitch in the zombie attraction system. If broken, dig underneath map in creative mode, and kill the villager that is underneath where the zombies are.

Updated - More trees on the mountains for more realism, and removed the experimental mountains that were off to the side.

The goal of the map is to find the missing 10 End Keys and return them to the temple to activate the End Portal! These End Keys are hidden all across the map, so have fun exploring and feel free to play a bit of survival at the same time!

Awesome map, Kept me entertained for more than an hour. Amazing job, Just a suggestion... When i played, The entire time I had to watch my hunger and stop fighting to run away and eat zombie meat, Constantly. It got annoying. VERY annoying. Please consider adding more food to the starting kits or create some "Supply drop" or something. Maybe you should turn the "A potion has spawned" Into somewhat of a supply drop, but add food. This is also an oportunity (Spelled wrong, I know) to throw more gear into the map. Like a hoe with sharpness or smite. You can make that a sickle. I hope you consider my suggestions, They may help. Great Job.
