    I love this idea. The unique attack it has puts it right up there with the "Oh ****"-ness of creepers and endermen, because having mobs that just bump into you to hurt you gets kinda boring after awhile.

    If you kill it, you get a tamed Hell/Nether Dragon, but if you heal it you get a Sky/Aether Dragon. Each would have their own special abilities.
    And if you manage to get one of each and you breed them...

    Good point, but at the same time that would kind of take away the significance of the choice you make. Maybe if there was only one in higher difficulties?

    So I've heard lots of talk about dragons being boss mobs or flying mounts. What if they were both?


    You'd have to fight the dragon to weaken it, and then you have the choice of either:

    • killing it and getting some super-awesome-holy-crap-amazing treasure item,
    • or you could give it a crap load of healing potions and it would become tame (and flyable).
    • Healing it and getting an Aether/Sky Dragon or egg.
    • Killing it and getting a Hell/Nether Dragon or egg.
    (I would have never thought of that if it hadn't been for Syeonyx)

    And for added fun, there'd be only one dragon per world.

    What do you think?

    I get a "saving chunks" error while crafting a plane, normally right when I click the completed plane to pick it up from the Plane crafting table.
