Kathryn walked around the school searching for her locker. She saw many people: two blue-haired boys, one of them had yellow eyes, which looked kinda cool. Kathryn noticed that pretty much everyone who saw her would back away and look scared or glare at me and crack their knuckles. I also noticed that not many purple haired people were here. I sighed as I found my locker and put my stuff inside.
Kathryn took Dieva's hand and grinned. "Very nice to meet you too Dieva! I got to go find my locker. See you around!" She walked off with a smile on her face. Maybe this year might not be too bad after all! She already had one new friend.
She smiled down at the girl. "Thanks! Though I admit sometimes it's a real pain. Everyone always expects me to be rude and," makes quotes with fingers, "stuck up. You're very pretty too! By the way, I'm Kathryn, but you can call me Kat if you like." She said grinning.

Kathryn walked around searching for her locker, but wasn't really paying attention to the numbers as she was busy gazing at the amazing features of the school. She had always loved architecture! She was thinking about what she would design if she became an architect when a girl ran right into her.
The girl fell down on her butt on the floor. "ohmigerdareyouokay?!" she said very quickly. Kathryn bent down quickly to the girl. "I'm fine! Are you alright?" she said concerned, holding out a hand to help her up. The girl looked shocked that she wasn't yelling at her.
Kathryn climbed out of her limo, feeling really anxious. What if no one liked her? What if she failed in school? She gave a little squeak when she saw how big the school was.
She walked around, looking at all the details of the school. She passed by some people, but they all glared at her. She sighed. It must be because of my hair color. She thought. She pulled her books closer to her and walked quickly on.
History: Kathryn has rich parents who both have purple hair, they expect her to grow up to be like them: an unkind, snotty rich person. Much to their dismay, however, Kathryn never enjoyed pushing their servants around or being rude.
Personality: despite her hair color, Kathryn is very sweet and compassionate. She is pretty smart and loves reading. She never leaves anyone out and is generally very shy, but once you make friends with her she is nice and can be a bit crazy, in a good way.
What brought you to this school: Kathryn's parents sent her to this school in hope that other purple haired people could show her how to "fit in."
Skills: very smart and is a good runner, though she tries to hide it.
Other: Breaks the norm obvs, she is the complete opposite of the norm!
Chase is really upset. He said once that he doesn't want to live anymore. That made me feel upset, because that's how I felt when my dad died. "If you say that again, I refuse to be your friend." I said. Maybe that would make him pull himself together? I don't know. School is so boring without Chase's jokes and Becca's sarcasm.
I felt so bad for Becca and Chase's family. Chase came back to school after about 3 days, but he was really quiet and hardly ever smiled. Same with Becca. I tried to hang out with them, but I stayed quiet, I didn't want to intrude upon their grief.
I felt so awful when Chase told me his mom died. That is so awful! I nearly cried myself, I know how that feels, since my dad died. I hung out with Kyle today. In PE she showed me some pretty awesome gymnastics moves! She was very shy but fun at the same time.
The next day Ariel felt a little better, so she figured she better go to school. Chase walked up to her and said "hey where were you yesterday?"
I didn't know how to explain that I lied, but I figured I better try. "I er, well I'm sorry Chase, but I er didn't have a cold. My rabbit died and I didn't really feel up to coming." I said, looking at my feet. He looked sympathetic and said "I'm really sorry."
I sniffed and said "I got to go to the bathroom." and walked away quickly. I didn't want him to see me crying.
