Rules
1. No griefing, Any griefing will cause you to be demoted.(depends on the mods)(mods = highest rank)
2. Behave! This is the most important rule of all. No discrimination. We don't discriminate you, we expect the same behavior. Any racism or discrimination of malice. Excessive profanity is also not allowed. We like to keep our mouths clean.
3. Don't build near other players' projects. People need building room. you don't know how much extra room they intend to use. If you really want a space near them, ask before you build. Assume all city plots require permission from the owner before building unless otherwise stated. When in doubt, ask a moderator if the owner isn't online.
4. Keep our world clean! One huge problem people tend to have is littering out of place blocks, especially work benches. Please pick up random blocks, torches, cobblestones etc. If you see a random block, pick it up. If in doubt, let it be.
5, Be friendly, helpful and have fun!This is the point really, isn't it? We are trying not only to have a competitively awesome server, but also to create a community bond. The penalty for this is your not being able to partake in our lively conversations and helpful community efforts.
I've been having the same problem, the memory would jump up too ~900k within 5 minutes and the screen would turn black and the program would stop working.
But I fixed it!(more or less...) I lowered all the graphical settings to their minimum (tiny view distance, fast graphics instead of fancy) and now the memory taken is climbing much slower and usually peaking and hovering around 550k, this didn't actually fix the 'problem', but it hasn't crashed since I did it so avoiding the problem is still pretty good I guess lol.
I hope this works for you guys like it did for me, atleast until a patch comes out or something.
(If it doesn't, or even if it does, remember that saving often is ALWAYS a worth while chore. I believe the 'save and exit' feature is the only way to save the map as well as your character and it only takes ~20 seconds to exit and come back: perfect amount of time to change the song you're listening to or drink some gamerfuel, lol.)

my gfx card is the best it can be.
my java was just updated today.
and i had my drivers updated about 4 to 5 days ago.
I believe its becuse these computer is new and i dont have the current things installed, but who knows =P i gotta go to work anyways =P
OH and you werent rude at all
topic says it all. When i start playing minecraft for about 5 to 10 mins i get these annoying black screen. And i dont know how to fix it. And if you ask me, i didnt pay for the dame game to be getting these problem for about 2 months.
