    posted a message on (REALEASED) MythiCraft, The Most In-depth RPG Mod To-Date (WIP) Alpha 0.1, for 1.2
    ideas:




    vampires: hostile rare night mobs. they are served by bat swarms. they and the bats siege villages. if you got bitten by 1 you become one of them! they can transform into bats. you must then avoid the sun. you must bite villagers and transform them to fulfill hunger. however you can get back to normal by crafting a special potion.

    werewolves: rarely villagers will be one at night. if you get bitten by this hostile mob you join them, at night you become a werewolf and attack anything you see. (besides tamed things, wolves and werewolves.) werewolves and and new type of hostile wolves travel and fight together in packs. they will siege villages and kill the villagers. they need to do that to fulfill hunger. you can go back to normal using a special potion.

    werewolves and vampires: they will fight each other if they see the other kind.

    gorgons: evil snake haired snake tailed boar tusked fanged reptilian green woman who spawn in swamps. they are also a player race. they are poisonness.

    medusa: a very rare strong purple gorgon who turns things to stone if looked in the eye.

    pixies: faeries with a evil laugh that if looked at attack. they try to lead you into traps like cliffs, crevices, lava, and TNT, and dispensers with arrows.

    gnolls: hyena humanoids with bows who wander deserts in packs and ambush you if they can. they are a playable race.

    ghosts: a playable race and a mob. the mob is evil while the race is not necessarily bad. there is a rare chance a evil ghost mob will be good when spawning.

    heckhounds: giant red dogs that breath fire and spawn in the nether. attack if approached.



    graveyards: spawn near cities. filled with undead at night. the undead slowly break the graves and the walls and after a few days break out. they siege the city and leave when the sun rises. new graves will spawn over time.

    i'm horrible at it. i am having trouble with my one mod i can code. (the creature collection.) not to mention i hate hunting. (i'm a nature lover.) so it would not work. i do have those birds planned for a mod of mine. but good luck with your mod!

    there is no way. there is are DIFFERENT mobs that look like them in creative mode spawned by a spawn egg that will follow you if you hold a certain item.

    you might want to know forge includes modloader now. if forge, forge modloader, and modloader are used together the mod will not work.

    people please read earlier pages, the rules, and the OP before asking a question. the questions above have been asked about a thousand times in the past few days in this topic!

    You basically only need Forge and Audiomod (for other mods which use it). Forge has a built-in modloader so it is not required to install Modloader along with Forge.

    I honestly have no idea when I will release a 1.3.x version; the other major mods seem to not have released any details about it. But I will be releasing my version (1.0.8 for MC 1.2.5) by the end of this week after I get a few tasks and assignments done... hopefully.


    i think forge includes audio mod too. at least i don't need audio mod when i have forge.
