    i can't stand gore in video games. and i'm 16. :P as long as it's optional i'm fine with it! glad the mod doing so well! also will this be compatible with other mods?

    I've got 1.4.7 running with a goodly number of mods, including MystCraft, IC2, Buildcraft, Forestry, Redpower, Thaumcraft and Millenaire. When I play in single player, I've got animals and mobs coming out of my ears. I can't turn one way or another and not see bugs or foxes or whatever. And night is downright scary, especially with the werewolves. But - using the same settings on my multiplayer server, there are hardly any mobs anywhere. Every once in a while, I might see a scorpion or a wight. Maybe a slime horse. A werewolf here or there. But things are very rare.

    More to the point, when I first log in after a reboot, I'll have somewhere around 70 or 80 entities showing up total on the F3 screen, but that number will dwindle down to around 20 (when I'm not near a village) and just stay there, varying by no more than one or two. The only way this number seems to change much at all is if my other two regular players log in at the same time I am around. Then, nights seem to be rather more dangerous again, but we're still hardly ever seeing horses, foxes or other daytime creatures.

    I've even gone so far as to edit the config file on the server and drastically increase the maxAnimals, maxAquatic and maxMobs numbers to no avail. So, anyone have any ideas where I'm going wrong, here?

    try setting that to true. the vanilla mobs may be too common and not going away. if you set it to true let us know if it works.

    but as you say, the climbing and animations are difficult and require extra time to do right. For now, I'm focusing on the wyverns and I'll release an update when they're ready. Then I'll try to finish the apes

    by the way i really wanna help with this mod but i last modded a working mob in 1.2.5 and have not done anything since then so i don't know how. i can not model or texture. (my current computer really needs netframework bugt can not install it.) i might be able to suggest ideas or use the banner or help you find coders by posting for help. if i could mod, no offense, but i would probably update a mod i made almost a year ago first. if i have enough spare time and one of you modders for this mod is willing to teach me i could try to learn how again and work on this one for practise before updating the other. no gaurentees though. this is a big complicated project even though it's awesome.

    p.s. you should make a basic entity file and basic render file and other basic common files with the common code for copying and pasting code to finish work easier. bye for now!

    i want some mythical creatures to be added mod first. i love mythical creatures. :P by the way i was never able to vote in the poll to do glitches but you should add dungeons and dragons themes and creatures like beholders but rename them to prevent copyright issues. by the way neon did you ever see the list of race ideas on prevous pages made by fans?

    my only major complaint about this mod is that polar bears are completely hostile. they are a very endangered species and are on risk of being extinct any day. they don'y try to go out of their way to kill humans. i think it's very wrong to make them the most hostile bear and such a threat. kids who play mo creatures will think "polar bears want to kill me" or "polar bears are scary" or "i must destroy polar bears" or something like that all of which are incorrect and grow up to destroy the polar ice caps and shoot bears. i just think it's wrong... i hope you make their hostility like grizzly and black bears, (only attacking if provoked,) or making them only attack at night, at least. thank you for reading this.


    other then that great mod! it's one of my all time favorites! i use it while playing minecraft a lot!
