    First off... Hi to Bockwurst. I hope you are well. Thanks to sirdave79 for the great info. Were you born in '79? And thanks to the other posters for the support.

    I really miss working on Assorted Wildlife. When I first started, I had no clue how to code. But with the help of the many tutorials here on the forums, I was able to start work on an entity that Minecraft needed and no other modder had developed yet. FISHY was born. I was proud of my first mod, because as far as I knew, there were no other sea creature mods. He was unique and therefore I thought I had something to add to the community. But my ego got a 'hip check'. The day I released, another more well-known mod released an update with fish. But the show must go on, right? So I released LoafCat. A favor for the author of LoafCraft and her fans on the thread. The community showed a great amount of support for the tameable furry bundle of cuteness. With my ego on the mend, I started to work on Assorted Wildlife. With the help of Zekey, author of ZekoCraft, it really took off. One month I clocked almost 8K downloads. That was so much more than what I was expecting. With the help of some nice members of the Minecraft community, the mod grew and grew.

    Months went by and I started to notice more modders releasing their own compilation of enities. Not including Mo', other more experienced coders tried their hand at mobs and were quickly becoming well-known. So started to slack off in regards to updating Assorted Wildlife. There was no need since the community had their mob hunger sated by these new 'mob-packs'.

    With personal agro eating up my time and no apparent reason for updates, development slowed to a crawl. At this time there was big news out of Mojang about a Mod API that was in the works. So I stopped development in hopes of continuing with this new API. And eventually stopped playing MC.

    I have not kept up on Minecraft news. But I thought I would at least hear about it. And with Forge and ModLoader still being used, its not looking good.

    Did Mojang ever release a Mod API for the community?

    no modapi yet. :( it might take a very long time. they say they are aiming towards it though.

    that garden is not in the underworld. its on the titan's mountian. the dimensions will be generated randomly like the overworld or the nether. there will be no map for the coders to build. it will all be generated randomly. if we could get biomes working, maybe we could do biomes for the dimensions. like the underworld could have the fields, tartarus, the islands of the blessed, the palace of hades, elysium, the styx, the leethe... fishy can you make that happen please? :P

    as for being a demigod

    that would require editing a lot of minecraft vanilla code (i think) and cause crashes and issues with other mods. i'm imaging a gui screen when you start a world... and it would not work well with smp i think. maybe guiapi but that would cause crashes and extra downloads and glitchy smp.

    anyway about half of the heroes in greek mythology were mortal. maybe more then half. well most were grandchildren or great grandchildren or beyond of the gods. jason, odysseus, according to many myths theseus, and more.

    ... i want that added but it would be bad for the mod in some ways.

    hades: i like that idea.

    the other two: not too good because do you think ocean titans would attack a enemy of posidon. they would probably thank him. maybe tritons and sea serpents would attack you. zeus: again to broad. mayeb giant eagles, eagles, and harpies?

    i appreciate you ideas and i'm not trying too sound rude, just pointing out it's too broad. thank you so much.

    the zeuscraft dimensions are going to generate like the nether. i don't know if their will be a Styx yet but that's a good idea. but it would generate rarely and randomly not in a exact specfic place.

    OLYMPUS will be a dimension. there will be dimensions for hades and posidon too. the god will give you quests to get godly weapons or other great items, many of which involve fighting poweful enemies or bosses. (like kronos or Oranos) the olympian gods will not be enemies or bosses though. temples have not really been discussed but i have thought about them in the past and they may be added eventually. heroes will wander the world fighting monsters and visiting citystates. you can fight them but if is perferable not to.


    (incase you don't know i'm the creator and idealist for zeuscraft, and i know almost eeverything about greek mythology)

    and all mods should support smp...

    do i need to install guiapi on the client to join a server? (its not on the server just on the client)
