I think the bio is fine for the most part - I have no problem with your writing ability. However, I think some of your magical capabilities are somewhat overpowered. Cut a few parts from his magical ability - I'd suggest the bit about being able to levitate or flinging boulders about with his mind because they're not really conjuration spells, which are his forte - and I'd be glad to accept you.

I think you should start in the capital city (Parthaeum), if only on a business trip/vacation because that's where everyone is gathering at the moment to start their quests. If you start out on the elven island, it could be a very long time before someone from either group gets there.

Good point, I felt that he may have been a little overpowered. Since telekinesis of his conjured weapons is necessary to his fighting style, I took out telekinesis of everything EXCEPT his conjured items. Meaning he can't lift anything he didn't summon himself. Is that okay?

EDIT: Also, I edited his Bio to make him in the capital. Thanks for the suggestions!

Oh, so elf years are like human years? That makes it simple, thanks!

Ah, it's been a while since I've been on these forums. Fitting that I'm coming back to an RP.

Name: Fenali Leso (Pronounced: Fen-Al-Lie Lay-So, most just call him Fen)

    Age: 64

    Gender: Male

    Race: Elf

Appearance: Elderly and experienced, his face definitely shows it. He has just as many scars as wrinkles, most from spells gone awry, and he has quite a few of the latter, making him look twenty years older than his actual age. His hair, once brown, has whitened from age, and he let it, and his beard, grow long and scraggly, and he usually holds the hair back in a ponytail so it doesn't get in his face. He has the typical almond shaped eyes, with a brown coloring. His ears are long and pointy, as per the norm, except his are actually more so, giving him really narrow ears. He wears an elegant robe with a simple enchantment on it so that any damage on it repairs instantly and dirt falls off, making it look as clean as when it was first sown. This was necessary due to his dangerous spells slicing up all his other robes to ribbons when he was younger. The robe is white, with a bright golden trim, and a light gray tree on it. He also wears rather simple sandals and a white belt with which to store pouches and the likes.

Weapons/Equipment: (Since there is no "Spells" section I figure I'll throw them in here.) He carries no visible weapon, aside from a staff with him, used to help him with his spells. The staff is a dark wooden staff adorned by a ruby on the apex of the staff, surrounded by a gold trim. The wood comes around the ruby, grasping it like claws, and it is also a very strong wood, surprisingly able to stop most lighter swords without a scratch. Bigger swords may cut a notch in it. On his belt, he holds several pouches of items, mostly herbs and whatnot, for alchemy, along with a mortar and pestle.

While lacking in physical armaments, he carries a nice amount of spells. He specializes mostly in conjuration, able to summon several weapons for as long as he concentrates on holding the spell, able to summon spears, bows, swords, and arrows. He is also able to use levitation, but only on his conjured items. He usually combines the two spells into one, summoning several spears and telekinetically launching them at enemies. Or he could summon a sword and fight with it, but he isn't in much of a physical state for fighting, usually just bonking people over the head with his staff if they get to close. (Not that that'll do much, he isn't that strong)

Biography: Fenali started his life in a rather good family in the cities. His family was nice and raised him well, all the while having enough money to buy him a private education his kid years, in which he excelled at, showing a natural affinity towards learning. When he wasn't learning he could be found at a park nearby, talking with his group of friends. His best friend was a nerdier male elf named Salvani, who excelled in school just as much as Fenali, but was more introverted, whereas Fen was more of a charming extrovert. They were also friends with another, less intelligent (but still not dumb by any means) male elf named Lezandro, who preferred physical activity over learning, and a female elf named Liatra that was introverted like Salvani was.

Their child life was relatively uneventful. When they grew older, most of the group split up, Salvani becoming a book writer and Lezandro going to become a soldier. Liatra and Fenali, however, ended up going to a magic university of sorts, and they both found that they excelled at it. Liatra became a healer while Fenali practiced Conjuration, both becoming quite adept in their respective fields. Over the years of study, their similar interests in magic brought them close, and at the age 25 for both of them (as they were the same age), the two married. They both shared a passion for magic, and ended up moving away from the city in order to practice and learn their skills. Fen usually ended up injuring himself since he conjured blades quite often, leaving Liatra to heal him many a time.

After several decades of study, around the age 57, Liatra caught an illness that she couldn't cure, and died. Fenali was heartbroken, and delved deeper into his studies. Over the next few years, however, he decided enough was enough and went into a psuedo-retirement, in which he moved to the human capital city, Parthaeum. He mostly just decided to rest after a life of magical studies, but he still practiced enough to not forget the magic, and he chose the human city simply because he wanted to broaden his horizons, so to speak.

One day, while strolling through a park, he overheard talk about something called "the Heretic" plaguing the humans. He always liked the humans, as most that he saw were usually quite nice, and engaged the group in a conversation about it. He learned all about what he needed to know, and since this sounded like a major threat, he decided he'll try and find this heretic.

Other/Suggestions: Capybara's are so cute. They are also delicious. NOM NOM NOM

Also, elven names are HAAAARRRDDD to come up with. Bleeeeh.

Not sure yet which he'll group he'll join, though it'll most likely be the nobles. Also, should I come to the mainland in the RP or chill out in the elven city until a recruiter comes?

I'm so joining this. I plan on making a magician elf, but I need to know the ration of Elf to Human years, just in case they are different.

Also, hey, it's me again! Fitting that I come back to Miencraft Forums after a 4-month hiatus and join an RP.

((Wasn't much for me to do, sorry.))

Vector heard Alex yell something in Russian, though for all Vector knew, it could've been Swahili as his Russian was essentially non-existent. He threw the magazine he was reading, helpfully labeled "Cars." Well, what do you know, the title was taken.

He ran over to the window (and nearly into the wall), and looked out of it. He didn't see much, since Alex and Sam were in the way, when Alex bolted for the door saying something about needing to get to the front door ASAP. He followed as quickly as he could.

((Knowing safes, it's probably a dial lock with a keyhole for a key in case the owner forgets the combination. Keypad safes are rare as friendly marauders.

    Oh, wait.))

Vector opened a cardboard box at random and found it full of magazines. The reading kind, not the gun kind. He picked one out with a car on front, and it turned out to be one called Auto's Weekly. Very creative title, there. What, was "Cars" already taken? Vector thought, sarcastically.

He flipped through it and found a part on hot-wiring cars. He already knew how, being a mechanic and all, and threw it back in the box.

((Idle actions are idle. Plus, I don't feel like finding everything, because my character isn't the best at searching for stuff.))

Vector scratched his head, which still hurt like he hit his head on concrete, and said, "OK, so we need to defend the bomb against the... You know what? Screw the semantics. Just tell me who to shoot and when. Much simpler. You're giving me and Rachel a headache with all this. Well, to be fair, I already had a headache..."

Vector grabbed one of the dead marauder's sub-machine guns and his ammo. 2 clips, plus the one in the gun. Not a shotgun, but certainly better than a hammer, thought Vector. "Well, my ears are un-raped, so don't worry about that," Vector replied, with a grin.

Alex then lead them through several hallways. When Alex finished talking about his plan, he asked for questions, to which Vector replied, "So, you're saying that this rag-tag small group of survivors, only half of which are armed, that has no formal training and very few supplies is supposed to fight the well-trained and well-supplied military? There are easier ways to commit suicide, you know. Whatever the case, I'll still help anyway. If we don't get that bomb, we're all screwed anyway. My accuracy may be crap though. Consider it luck if I hit anyone farther than 10 ft. away."

Sam and Alex shot at the two marauders with their guns, bringing them down. Each shot reverberated inside Vector's head, making his migraine worse, causing him to grimace. "Sure, but after we deal with the bomb, could you give me a chance to explain myself before you shoot me?" Vector asked. "And, my head's killing me. Got any Tylenol? Actually, scratch that. I need morphine..."

Do spells count? If so, Firebolt from Skyrim.

If not, an Orcish Sword of Scorching. Also from Skyrim.

Anyways, sorry about the shiz quality of my last post. My brain was futzed up. I'm tired now, which oddly increases my literary capabilities, so it should be a better post now.

    Go figure...))

Vector got up and shook his head, tottering slightly. He was dazed and had a migraine, but now was no time to sit idly. He followed Alex, who was following the pilot, as he tried to figure out what the rush was. It wasn't till he saw the flames did he realise what the problem was, as his head wasn't working right.

He rushed after Alex, clutching his pained head, as they came to the end of the hallway. He couldn't do anything as he watched the pilot become swiss cheese in front of his face. He noticed Alex making a motion with his hand, that Vector took a few seconds before he realized he was motioning them to be quiet.

((In essence, Vector's concussed. As if he wasn't already stupid enough, now he's (temporarily) going to be slightly ditzy-er.))

As the two marauders came in to loot the pilots corpse, completely oblivious of Alex's gang, Vector instinctively reached for his shotgun, only to find it wasn't there! "Damn..." Vector murmured. He pulled out his hammer, getting ready to fight if need be. "Damned marauders. When I was one, I didn't ki- aw, ****." Too late did Vector realized he just accidentally revealed his past he would've preferred to have kept quiet.

((Aw, I lost the shottie. Also, because there wasn't enough going on already, I'm putting in some completely unnecessary drama to spice this up a bit! Since I never got a chance to actually introduce my character to your characters, I'll just say my guy never said he was one. Which would be obvious, since not many people would willingly allow a former marauder in their group.))
