    Hey @Drullkus. A friend of mine just gave me a decent idea. Once you get into making the thermal smeltery controller block, would it be possible to add pyrothium as a additional fuel type (second to lava) that would allow faster smelting and 4x production (or something similar)?

    here is what i would recomend:
    1. Purchase the game. Mojang made a great game and they should be allowed the decency of having that game played legitimately.
    2. once you have purchased said game, try using the mods once again.
    3. if the same things happen after you have a legitimate copy of the game, record EXACTLY what is going on so someone on here would be able to help you out properly

    This post is to formally request permission to distribute Thaumcraft 4 within the mod pack Metallurgist's Construct. The mod pack is being built upon the 1.6.4 version of Minecraft with planned distribution on the ATLauncher with hopes of it being launched on the FTB launcher one day.
    The theme of the mod pack is making use of an under appreciated mod by the name of Metallurgy. Metallurgy was the first mod that got me into playing modded Minecraft and I wanted to feature it in a 1.6.4 modpack with mods that would help compliment it within the world one creates. So you could say that the theme of the modpack is more of discovery w/ some tech and magic implemented to help the discovery process.
    The mod pack was originally created by me and I have been testing it with a decent group of individuals on a private server so we would be able to see what mods are interacting in what ways with all the mods. I was then approached by one of my friends and we are now working together as Co-Creators of the pack. RailCraft was always planned to be part of the modpack because of the fun items it adds.
    The modpack is currently available on the ATLauncher under private packs.

    Also a mod list is included within the google spreadsheet of current permission.

    If permission is not given for the modpack we will not include it in the final version that will be submitted for public consumption on the ATLauncher and instruct anyone who wishes to include it in their worlds to direct them to download it through the minecraft forums.

    May I make the following suggestions if possible.
    1. Make the ender metals have the best possible combination of abilities yet make the tools default to 1000 durability upon any piece is being used on the tools (plate, rod, head, etc)
    2. For fantasy metals, give them the same ability as thaumium with tartarite giving you the best level only when it is used as the main repairing metal
    3. For nether metals, if it's possibly to add your own abilities I think the nether metals would be the best place to test that feature out.
    4. For precious metals, maybe let them have the luck ability but only when the metal is being used as the main repairing piece.

    I think these features would definitively be interesting if they are possible to implement. If not then i would recommend that you use your best judgement on what should be added.

    My apologizes is you consider this a waste of your time to reply to this request.
    I understand your view point about both private and public mod pack requests and if you ignore this message I would like to wish you good day and keep on making Thaumcraft great. But this is in fact a request to feature your mod in a mod pack I have been in the works on for a few weeks now. The modpack's name is Metallurgist's Construct. The point of this pack is to feature both Metallurgy and Tinker's construct using other mods to enhance the game play of the modpack. I have been a fan of Thaumcraft since the early FTB days and seeing the hard work you have put in (and still are putting in) I would be honored to have your mod be one of the main mods within this modpack.
    I would humbly ask for your permission for including Thaumcraft within this modpack.
    Please reply at your earliest convenience.

A few could basically be the same code as modifiers (Blaze Powder=Vulcanite, Necrotic Bone=Sanguinite, etc.) but edited so that it's inherent with the metal and doesn't need a modifier, but some (like Vyroxes' poison) would be harder to do. So you should be prepared to wait a while.

    i was wondering about that. just wondering since I'm trying to build a mod pack that features Metallurgy and Tinker's Construct working harmoniously together. So far no major bugs (other then a few id re-assignments) but everything is going smooth so far. Just need to make sure the mod pack perms are up to date and we might see one of the first 1.6.4 mod packs with this mod in it.

    out of curiosity with the Metallurgy metal parts, do they normally have no special ability (i.e. obsidian has reinforced, ardite has stonebound, etc) or am i missing something in the configs that i need to enable?
