Place coal in the BOTTOM box, as the source by which to have burn. In the TOP box, place the material you wish to place in the furnace, such as a or block. Flames will fill the backimage of fire, and a progression arrow will begin. You can leave the furnace alone now, for a while, and when the flame goes out, the furnace has done all it can. (The fuel ran out, and/or the object in the furnace has finished.)
Don't forget: :sand:, (Gravel?), and slabs of bacon. {BACON}

So, I wondered... Does "hard" spawn monsters anywhere, even in sunlight? Or anything like that?
Simply, what's the differences between normal and hard?
