    I don't see how enchanted dispensers could ever be overpowered...


    They are terrible for traps, all good traps use falling/TNT/lava... not dispensers.

    Infinity would obiviously have to be limited to arrows.

    But yeah, I'd say just do an enderman farm out in the end. It is easier to set a specific spawn area, and as you are only dealing with one type of mob, who doesn't wear armor, you can bring them down to 1 HP and kill them easily.


    I think the mobcap is separate for each dimension, so endermen farm should work as long as there aren't other people in the end.

    Something like:

    could work.

    Build it as high up as possible, best results from building above an ocean.

    You can use an automated hopper clock to switch the water instead of a lever (just google "Minecraft hopper clock")



    This picture has the max spawning range, note that changing the render distance from 10 chunks breaks these distances.

    (on servers it depends on the server config file, not the player setting)

    Other players can and do stop mobs from spawning in darkroom based spawners, on servers they can still work if you AFK long times and automatically kill the mobs, but this makes spawner(block) based farms better.

    Technically you maybe could make an auto mining system that uses an piston based moving part to retrieve blocks into a wither/creeper based block breaker.

    Basically a flying machine that turns around when it hits something, and takes blocks with it. then it returns to it's "station", that removes the blocks and resets the macine.

    It would be pretty useless unless you somehow get it to mine in 2 dimensions intead of just mining a tunnel.

    Also would probably easily get stuck into unloaded chunks/obsidian/chests

    It wouldn't really fit the general definition of "automatic" as it would have limited working area, it would also be very slow and easily get stuck.




    I build automated systems because they really are the last thing in minecraft I still care about, I don't like building huge purposeless builds, and got bored of just collecting resources.


    Often I build some farm to build another automatic system. spider farm to get string for endermen farm, iron farm to get hoppers for an automatic sorting system.

    It would cause issues with large online servers, because banning people would be difficult.


    Unlike many new games, minecraft is mostly DRM free, you can copy the files to another computer and run it there without an internet connection.

    (actually, it is even possible to run the game from USB, but that requires some work)


    So I could just continue playing singleplayer, and multiplayer wouldn't be impossible

    I think usually TNT mining is too complicated and inefficient.


    You need a gunpowder farm. (easy)

    You must collect sand. (easy, but takes time that could be spent mining)

    You have to craft TNT.

    Mining using TNT is complicated and slow, with a pick you can just go strainght and place a torch when it is too dark.

    3x3 hole only reveals 12 blocks, 2x1 hole reveals 6

    TNT has a risk of destroying the items, in long term it isn't high risk, high reward, it averages into low reward.



    I usually use beacon mining, TNT can be good if someone needs a large cave for building.

    Try to automate everything that can be automated.

    And the semi-automate the things that can't.

    Then build an automatic sorting system.

    And connect the automatic farms to it.


    When finished survival will be boring, but ever getting finished is unlikely.



    I try to do things on the list, using artificial flying islands above the cloud level if possible.

    Experience cost?

    That's something new to have with a teleporter, and kind of makes it a bit more balanced. (at least if the cost depends on the distance teleported, with some minimum cost)


    But I still don't support, EXP is too easy to farm, this could make most other means of transportation obsolete.

    (and I don't support removing enderpearls.)


    Still one of the best teleporter suggestions I have seen, a lot depends on the exact rate of EXP use.

    Maybe something like (200+0,1*horizontal distance+(0,01*horizontal distance)^2+2*vertical distance)
