Is there a way to upgrade the aura of expulsion at this point in time? the default radius is pretty low and i cannot find any information about it relating to 1.10.2
Ive used the shader mod before, no problems. But for some reason, when installed on 1.6.4, i get half a frame a second on the main menu and the shaders dont even show ingame.
using a radeon hd 7970ghz edition and an overclocked i72600k.
I dont really see a reason to post a log here, but i would like to state im using the proper forge version, 953.
This is just an ampz server that i run on my computer, and overclocked [email protected]
Its suggested that you are in the eastern USA
rules of the server: Do whatever the **** you want, set off 40 antimatter bombs, launch thousands of missiles at the same time, whatever, youre not going to stop my computer.
Just dont blow up other peoples crap unless they give you permission
This server isnt whitelisted, its just small enough that i can give out the IP to a couple people and have fun.

How much you know about ampz
Alright people, im having an issue here. Ive been using optifine pretty much since when it first came out and then used it for every version up to about minecraft 1.8 beta.
I havent played minecraft since then up till recently, and there are some things that require optifine or at least say they do (shaders), and you get things like CTM, better grass and better snow, and overall more control over your minecraft experience.
The only problem is, is that it kills my fps.
I go from 230ish when minecraft is maxed out to
like 100 with optifine ultra with everything on fast
70 on default with everything on fast
and 30 with serious lag spikes whenever i move.
This in on minecraft 1.5.2 with the ampz pack and, and 1.6.whatever vanilla
specs are
core i7 2600k @4.8ghz
8gb of 2133mhz ram
radeon hd 6970
windows 7
I have tried every way to install this watched every video and it still says no mods installed. It's probobally nothing but it doesn't work with anything I'm on Mac and have magic launcher please help.
The problem is your mac
Anyways, ive used your mod from when it first started from optimine+optifog then to optifine and so on.
two things here.
On my desktop i get roughly 180-200fps
and thats a pentium dual core at 3.8ghz with a gtx550ti ( i know its outdated)
on my other desktop i get 400-600
thats a i72600k at 4.9ghz with a radeon hd 6970
On my laptop i get about 10-15fps
Thats an i3 at 2.13ghz with an intel gma hd
With optifine i get
First 40-60 and its not vsync its a 120hz monitor, plus tons of chunk loading lag and sometimes theyre clear till i step on it
Second desktop 150-200 and same from above
with optifine and fps++ on my laptop i get a smooth 60-70 and no chunk lag or problems whatsoever
And the problem isnt fps++, those benchmarks are without, except for the laptop. and i tried it on the desktops and it makes it slightly less laggy than just optifine.
No idea why its this way, the laptops the shi tiest of them all and it outperforms them with optifine
i haven't tried that, you can use /WORLDEDIT CUI as command in bukkit if the lines dissapear
Youre a fking lifesaver!
so much for not working with forge, i just used the modloader version and put it in voltz'z minecraft.jar rather than the modpack.jar. went on singleplayer with spconsle and i couldnet see the wireframe lines. go on a server doesnt work. Read back a few posts see yours, try /worldedit cui, and it works!
This only works if your CPU is the bottleneck. However, if you have a bad graphics card, this won't do anything.
99.99999% of the time, the cpu is the bottleneck, think of how easily the graphics chipset can draw 5000 polygons, a couple per each block in view. thats not crap. its used to be drawing hundreds of thousands.
anyways like i said, this chipset in this laptop is pretty much the lowest of the low, meaning my old radeon 9550 was faster than it. and its standard in 99.999% of just general modern laptops, (post 2009ish). Anything else before that PROBABLY did not have a even a dual core, so it wouldent apply anyways
Hey, i gots an idear, yes idear, pronounced i dee er
Anyways, if the world is made up by 16x16x256 chunks..... why not put the chunks on layers so you could have 2 16x16x256 chunks on top of eachother. it would take tons of work because, i have no idea how it would be done, but crazier things have happened
i mean it could be like if a block is in chunk number 1 and then it goes above 256, now its in chunk 1:2 just like minecraft does its items.
i know, i feel stupid for saying this, but if these "isotopes" you could say, of items allow people to add hundreds of items without running out of sprite indices, couldent it also allow you to keep track of secondary chunks. and yes, i know its not the same thing so dont start ranting at me, its merely a thought
Hello people, i am here to tell you something crazy i have found. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but here goes.
My laptop has...
a core i3 at 2.13ghz
intel hd graphics
4 gigs of ram
Now your probably thinking, that should be more than adequate to run a stupid little block game. well, no.
A huge problem with minecraft is that it only uses one (1) core of your computer. Optifine claims some multicore support, but its only in world loading and solving.
i was playing on multiplayer today and was achieving 100+fps the whole time with render distance on short+16, which allows you to see a pretty good amount of distance, or at least way more than needed.
after i got off the server, i headed for single player. heres where the problem happened, i was getting about 15fps. unacceptable, with terrible lag spikes. Thinking, what the hell, i went back on the server, 100fps. new world, 20fps then back to 15
after thinking about it more, the server does a TON of the processing for the minecraft world, as far as generation, solving (fluids and mobs) and even time, or ticks, leaving your computer to just "display" the information given, so basically rendering it and such.
Well, on multi core computers, you can tell what core you want a program to run on, so heres the howto....
Checking all the boxes wont do you good, it just means that if it wants to, windows can move a process over to that core.
if quad......
for the first javaw.exe set it for core numbers 0 and 1
for the second javaw.exe set it for cores 2 and 3
if dual
for the first javaw.exe set it for core numbers 0
for the second javaw.exe set it for core number 1
Great, now you have minecraft split into 2 processes on seperate cores.
now just connect to the server using your computers ip address which can be found by running command prompt and typing ipconfig/all and looking for where it says ipv4 address for your current network adapter
It depends what shaders you are using. i was using v09 shaders and switched to 10rc2 and needed the seus adjusted pack. when i went back to another version, everything was blue so i went back to default pack and it was ok.

Why, the only thing in 1.6.2 is tons of broken features.

Well, on multi core computers, you can tell what core you want a program to run on, so heres the howto....
Download minecraft server from https://minecraft.net/download
Put it in a folder
run it. wait till stuff stops happening
close it
run it again
open up minecraft
go to task manager. set it to alphabetical order
find the processes "javaw.exe" or "java.exe"
right click one of them and click set affinity.
Checking all the boxes wont do you good, it just means that if it wants to, windows can move a process over to that core.

yes, dont use the seus adjusted texture pack
