It's a great idea, but you suggested things that complete redo how a beacon works. The distance of effect would be decided by the size of pyramid, and you only have to give it one ingot/gem before it will start. Otherwise, I don't think it's overpowered at all. It could also promote exploration, as players will want to find the biome they want the beacon to create.

    Minecraft is exploring not not-exploring

Did you even read the topic? You have to have found the biome before you can choose it on the beacon. Also, exploring is for the sights and materials. This doesn't provide you with any materials besides ocelots, snow, and ice.

posted a message on What do YOU want in Minecraft server? Give us your ideas!
    1. Do you like big servers (500+) or small servers (< 30 players) or something in between (30 - 500)?

Big servers. Those ones are usually the servers that are most dedicated, have the best staff, and are the best quality.

    2. What kinds of minigames do you like (Maybe give me your top 3 favourite and rank them 1, 2 and 3)?

3 - Spleef (Favourite variants: Pizza Spleef, Splegg) 2 - Hide 'n' Seek 1 - Survival Games (The ones without kits.)

    3. If a server offered a 7 day trial period and you LOVED the server, would you be interested in paying a monthly subscription to be able to play?

Nope. I pay once, and only once. Perhaps a one time fee if it was cheap, but not a subscription.

    4. How much would you be willing to pay for a subscription? (Answer in $/monthly)

    $0.00

    5. Have you ever, in the past, bought a package/rank/kit on a server?

    No. They're never worth it.

    6. What's your current favourite server and what makes it great!?

The Hive. I like to play minigames whenever I'm bored, but I'm not interested in standard survival. The Hive has a lot of my favourite mini-games, and the only problem is the sheer amount of players. It can take up to 10 minutes to join a game, as they fill up immediately. If you and a/some friends want to play together, it'll never happen.

    7. Would you be interested in a server where you rank up every x number of hours? Or do you want all players to have the same rank? (Excluding staff)

I think ranking for play time is fair. The longer the player has been on without making trouble shows their trustworthiness. If they're more trustworthy, you can give them some privileges. The only exception is mini-game servers. It's extremely annoying when you are constantly kicked out of a game because a higher rank wanted to join.

    8. Would you prefer a server that has a single, really good minigame, or a HUB server (Where you can join multiple minigames from spawn)?

Hub server. Not worth joining the server if there's only one game.

    9. What is your preferred way of contacting server staff if there is a problem? (Website forum, MCforums, email, skype etc.)

MC forums. I prefer not to give away my email and Skype, and I don't want to have to make an account for every server website. MC forums is the quickest, easiest way for me.

I hope "merica" doesn't become one of them. If that happens, minecraft forums will be required to add more and more flags for each country, as there will be many complaints. Having a smiley that focuses on only a minority of forum users is not very fun.

Element of surprise > better equipment

Surprise him if he's alone, hide otherwise. If you manage to kill him we should cannibalize the corpse.

You wait near the mouth of the cave. As the tribute passes by, you see he is uninjured, and equipped with a small sword. You jump at him and he drops the sword in fright. After a few swings of the axe, he is dead. BOOM! If it wasn't for how cold you were, you probably could have killed him in one swing.

You wince as you cut out the edible meat from him. You end up with a book sized amount of raw meat and a horrible looking corpse you prefer not to look at. With no way to cook it, you close your eyes, take a bite, and hope for the best. Despite the terrible sense of eating human, you end up eating half of the meat. You store the rest in the pack. Being full of food makes you feel slightly warmer.

Awfully suspicious as a virus. You're a brand new forum member, no pictures, and you can't just make a resource pack. It takes time.

Add some pictures if you want anyone to download your resource pack.

    Well, what is around then?

You are still right beside the river, and all around you is just hills. The hills do block your view, so there might be more things nearby. Across the river you can see a huge distance, all filled with sparse trees and bushes, and the occasional gazelle. You also see a tribute in the far distance, too far away to tell any equipment. It could even be two tributes.

Condition: Bandaged Right Arm Gash (infected), Sick: No Appetite, Nausea. | Light Headed: Double Vision, Large Headache, Lack of Focus. | Cold

Inventory: Small Axe, Sword, Pack: 30% full Water Bottle (clean), 2 Knives, Bloody Tuque, Antibiotic Pills (3 per day), Headache Pills (1 per day).

Pill Status: Antibiotic: Taken 1 of 3 daily.
Headache: Taken 1 of 1 daily.

Nice creation, but the video wasn't put together very well. You should prepare yourself with everything and start the video up at the door, not down on the ground. You failing to climb mountain is not very good video content. Also, lose the acting.

    It's great anyways!

Look around to see if they're looking at someone else, then crouch down and avoid notice. Move somewhere else.

They are not running toward anyone else, so you crouch down. As you watch him running he falls to the ground and BOOM! Perhaps he was shot!
