Hello everyone, I decided to make a modding tutorial for the very beginners out there who has zero knowledge of Forge modding. In my tutorial I will do my best at explaining the tiny details so that people who has no previous knowledge of modding can actually start modding.
Also, I will have the textures I used in the tutorial mod free to download and use!
Here's all my textures, and here's any other project files.
All tutorials can be viewed directly from my site:

For now, that's it! The site and this thread will be constantly updated, soon it will be full of easy-to-follow tutorials!
Also, if you want me to make a tutorial on something, reply to this thread, or comment on the website
Have fun modding

Great server! Well managed by competent staff who are friendly and very welcoming. Glad to be a part of this community!

Over the course of the 5+ years I have played Minecraft, the community degraded over time especially when it comes to finding players to trust and put into a position of power. For example, it is very difficult to find skilled builders/staff members that aren't young, power hungry children. (No offense to children).
The server recruitment forums is an overall toxic environment with 99% of applicants being power-hungry children looking for a one-way ticket to administration. It is practically impossible to find someone who isn't just looking to grab a chunk of your crown.
Generally, the players with very high quality builds on both MC forums and PMC are already employed and busy, so thats not an option.
Where do I go?

Lets start off with your first point, "HAVE YOU EVER TRY CODING IT TAKES TIME." Mojang is worth over 4 billion dollars. There is no excuse when it comes to programming because the company has the funding to hire professionals, and it is expected of them to complete their tasks in a timely fashion. Secondly, although programming is time consuming, you haven't actually pointed out what would be time consuming to program. Therefore, this is a completely invalid point.
Secondly, you once again mention SP. SP has nothing to do with anything if the features we want aren't in the game to begin with. Although, for SP we can have mods, so this has some value. I haven't played single player for 3 years now, because it is boring and stale, and many other players will agree. I want to play with other people, that is what I find fun, I like building with other people, that is what I find fun and entertaining. I enjoy talking to 20-30 other people on the server, and that is what I find fun. You won't have 20-30 people on a server if it is modded, period.
Your third point, minus all the spelling and grammatical errors is the exact mentality that you have! You are telling us to play single player if we don't like the direction the game is headed in, because you are "better than me" and deserve to be able to play on servers.
"If you can't change it why complain" because I want to make Mojang aware of why I don't like the game, and what they can do to appeal to me, and many others that share my opinions and ideas.

Server console....
1.) Hit CTRL+F while looking at the server log with a text editor, and search for any instances of "op." If a staff member opped these players, it will show up here.
2.) Look at any and all commands run by the griefers who managed to get OP. It may be a plugin you installed that lets them OP themselves.
3.) Contact your host for a possibility of a backup if you didn't have one that satisfies you.

The game has the words "mine" and "craft" in the title. Rather than adding features just to add them (what it seems like they are doing now) they could have added more to the game that would improve mining, building, crafting and survival.
Lets start with the building aspect. At the start of the game, building was very simple and there wasn't many structures that looked amazing. When more half slabs were added, and you could place stairs upside down, building took off. However, there is only so much you can do with the very few block types, and even fewer block types of stairs and half slabs. Out of everything that could be suggested, giving every building block a stair and half-slab version would not only be insanely fast and easy, it would greatly improve the game (this would also add hay half slabs and stairs, which would be amazing!). Furthermore, vertical "half-slabs" along with vertical "stairs" should be added to the game as well. This would vastly improve the quality and detail of all builds, and bring back thousands of builders who quit the game because Mojang failed to bring them the content that they desperately needed (like Jamziboy).
Now for mining. The problem with adding more content to mining is that anything you add needs to have a purpose. You can't just add ores without making them useful. Now the greatest counter argument for anything that I write below is going to be "it doesn't fit into Minecraft!!!" because we all know those users who know exactly the theme of Minecraft and what fits and what doesn't. Anything could fit into Minecraft, because it is a sandbox game, and you don't have to use anything from it. We have dragons, witches, withers, zombies, swords, magical eggs that spawn things, redstone etc. Minecraft has ~7 blocks to mine right now, blocks that you should look for. Either ores became more abundant than in alpha, or it became easier to find them, but now I don't have any trouble gathering ~5 stacks of iron in about an hour of gameplay. Adding stuff like "pipes" to minecraft and more technologically advanced blocks would allow Mojang to add more ores for mining, and maybe even add new refinement processes. Mining is the more iffy topic, since it affects many game aspects.
Survival is another hard topic to discuss because of how complex it is. For starters, the big thing about surviving is food. Food is only an issue when you first start playing and after you have your first far, or you find a village, you are set in terms of food. It is just merely an inconvenience that requires you to have an extra inventory slot open. Because Minecraft is such a "simple game" (apart from brewing and redstone ofc) Minecraft never had a temperature system implemented. So rotting food and refrigeration isn't an option ofc. You cannot just have food rot over time, because.... reasons... and yeah, thats the end of food. Mobs aren't a threat of course, as soon as you have a sword, they are simply punching bags, and wait till you get enchantments, (that means one hit kills!). What is a solution to this? Properly implementing the difficulty system. Rather than having mobs do slightly more damage, and spawn more, playing on the hard difficulty should be HARD. It should make it hard to grow food, hard to kill mobs, harder to find ores, and harder to play in general, rather than just affecting a few minor aspects of the game.
I don't have time to write this all out, and I feel like I did a half- job on what I did write, so I'm going to end it here. To summarize, the game isn't hard anymore, and there is no way that you can make it harder. It is catering to the audience of 9-13 year olds (who love OP things) and provides no challenge what-so-ever.
