I had this bug before, and it just happened again. I'm not sure why, but sometimes, the bedrock borer loses its dust. I think it has to do with chunk loading/unloading. What's weird is, it still makes the little pop noises when you right-click it. It just doesn't actually drop the dust.

Not sure if you or the Extra Utilities devs would have to fix this, but energy transfer nodes and pipes don't work with magnetostatics.

It is for exactly what it sounds like.

I know. I just found that word funny. Also, what is this new upcoming thing? Some kind of mega-CVT?

Also, I thought I'd share my funny of the day...
    Reika.RotaryCraft.API.Screwdriverable
    SCREWDRIVERABLE?! WTF

Wait... I meant 5 turbine blocks in a row like that. At least, that's what it looks like. When you say ONE turbine, are you talking the single block or the multiblock structure?

I think my biggest problem with reactors is that I wouldn't even know what to do with 950 MW xD

Funny... that made me realize something - I think 950 MW must be toward the limit of what 5 turbines like that can produce. I'd have to do some more testing myself to be sure, but I'd think about adding another turbine if I were you, cathode01...Also, what texture pack?

Just a quick question - does ElectriCraft have retro-gen? Also, I'd like to confirm that the ores are individually configurable. It appears that way from the code on GitHub, but again, I'm no expert (yet). :P

Oh? NOT adding ancient meteorites? Okay, then what is OldMeteorGenerator.java on your GitHub?

But I don't have Rotarycraft or Reactorcraft installed. These are the major mods I have installed so far (for 1.6.4):

    Meteorcraft
    Rival Rebels
    Enemy Soldiers
    Mob Spawn Controls 2
    Weather and Tornadoes
(And all their prerequisites... works out to 15 mods.)

On that note, can I even create the meteor sensor or defense guns with these mods alone?

I think you can, but I'm not entirely sure how. I remember it being said that if you have RotaryCraft, the radar and guns will be cheaper, but require RotaryCraft power. I'm not sure of the power requirements of the radar (and I don't use it anyway), but I do know that the guns would require 524.288 kW per tier. Pro tip - 524.288 kW happens to be the exact output of a chainable hydrokinetic engine. ;) Anyway, in your case, I'm not sure how you'd make them. However, I can tell you that no, NEI would absolutely NOT require Tekkit. Seriously, it's just like any other mod. Just because it has a dependency (CCC - CodeChickenCore), does NOT mean it would be that hard to add. Clearly you know how to install a few mods... just read the instructions on the "ChickenBones' mods" thread.

Alright so after diving through the thread for several minutes, I couldn't find the answer...

What are the recipes for the Meteor Alarm, and the Defense Guns from Meteorcraft???

I could just add them via creative mode, but I am more of a purist survivalist. :D

Dude, seriously? It's called NEI - Not Enough Items. Look it up.

0willabusta0, read a few pages back. Those lines are simply caused by Forge not liking Reika's system. They're not errors. Some of them even say they're not errors. Rule number one when reporting bugs - if possible, make sure they're bugs in the first place and not completely WAI and/or just Minecraft/Forge/mod weirdness. Rule number two - if they are indeed bugs, read back a few pages and/or use the search function to make sure they haven't been reported already.

As for you Seiryn, lol. I think you're running into the same wacky problem I was, and it actually has nothing to do with any of Reika's mods. Do you have Railcraft? Because if so, check to see that you're not carrying around any firestone ore. It does indeed do exactly what it says in NEI - "burning everything except flesh, you can feel the very air change around you..." or something like that. Yes, you read that right - if you're carrying the ore, or even the firestone itself until it's completely refined, it will light fires around you. Put it in a backpack (Project: Red backpacks, Backpacks mod backpacks/big backpacks, Forestry miner's backpack, Factorization golden bag of holding, Ender Pouch... take your pick) or any other non-player inventory and you're fine though.

Also, once refined, it's an interesting tool - toss it into a big lake of lava in the nether to recharge it. It will eat lava blocks to charge and, as a bonus, free obsidian! :D It has 5000 charges, each of which can smelt one item in the furnace (I think, haven't messed with it much). Not to mention you actually get a 25% chance of double output on some things... in the vanilla furnace.

I will warn you of something else though - those diamond pickaxes you use to cut the raw firestone? Yes - those get consumed. Worth it? Not sure yet. I guess the obsidian is nice, as I'm always running out of obsidian for the hardened glass that goes into anything even slightly higher up on the tech tree of Thermal Expansion. What would be really interesting is if we could use it in the RotaryCraft heater to for as much or as little heat as we want. After all, the vanilla furnace accepts it, but it's more of a raw energy storage crystal type thing than a standard fuel. Would you be interested in supporting such a thing, Reika?

Oooh! So I just logged back onto Kimi's server and I'm this close >< to crying tears of joy! I got on yesterday and suggested Modular PowerSuits and Thermal Expansion, but he had a couple problems with them. Fixed said problems right up in the configs, Skype'd 'em off... I'm on the server again now and they're in! And so is WAILA! Thank you Kimi! Thank you so much! But where are you now? :/

It's funny you guys talk about dryads. Thing is, ever since I got off the magic (which I don't really mess that much with anyway lol) and switched to this customized Tech World 2 pack of mine, my overall performance has improved dramatically. It only leads me to one logical conclusion - magic mods, while they can be fun, are just not worth their overhead unless your machine can handle it. Just my two cents about magic mods. No offense to anyone who makes or enjoys them, but they're just not worth it to me. :/

Okay, fine. But it really stinks that I can't even use my preferred storage method without having to switch off the fractioner every so often and wait while the transfer node (yes, it can't keep up, even with a whole stack of speed upgrades) to empty it out. :/ Maybe I do need to just make a giant Railcraft tank, as inefficient (relative to drums anyway) as that would be. Also, it may be worth mentioning that the bedrock breaker was chunkloaded by a Portal Gun portal. I have not tried other chunk loading methods, but you may want to investigate a few.
