Okay I changed the last two numbers in the config so uncrafting is free. I am now 100% satisfied with this mod, and won't be going back to the other one
I don't think there should be a cost to uncraft things, since there isn't one to craft them to begin with. Is there a config I can edit to make it cheaper, at least?
Having a cost makes sense if you are also repairing the item, like if you are uncrafting, say, a diamond pickaxe that is at half durabilty. The deconstruction table mod dealt with this by just giving you back only some of the items used to craft it, which worked rather well. Not saying you should do it like they did, but losing 20 xp just to uncraft a couple of chests was, to me, an unfair waste of xp that I was saving to enchant items with.
Just my opinion.
