If you have K9 Web Filter installed on your system, that is what is causing this issue. Remove it, and it should pick right up. Essentially, it appears that K9 is screwing up the Snooper feature.

    One problem.

16 year olds aren't really hormonal. That happens a few years earlier. By 16, you're... just an adult with less financial independence and less world experience.

lol your funny bro. You remain hormonal till about 17/18 most of the time. You may think that you are an adult in all aspects, but thats just your hormones talking.

posted a message on minecraft is for everyone
The whole "No one under 15" thing that many servers implement is for a number of reasons:

1.) Some adults don't feel right having little kids around when they are talking about mature subjects, or swearing. So they don't want kids around.

2.) Most little kids are unable to handle themselves properly. They generally have a harder time role playing and tend to have fits more when things don't go their way. Notice, I said most not ALL kids do this.

3.) Many little kids are annoying.

Minecraft 2 is the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Why would they make the exact same game again? There is no story or anything behind Minecraft, so making a number 2 would be pointless.

posted a message on Iron...doesn't work?
Try hovering your mouse over where the pickaxe should be, and see if it recognizes that it is there. I have had this happen a few times myself (though only one or two items) and hovering my mouse over where the pickaxe should be fixes it for me. Also, it might (I don't know how or why) be a corrupt texture pack maybe? I don't know...

posted a message on 1.8 seeds question
Well the seed itself is an variable used to create the world, based off of the generation 'equation', so as the entire equation is changing (for both speed, and new biomes etc) then it would be assumed that the outcome (the map) will be completely changed.

To those saying that 1.10 makes no sense:

It is not a decimal number. In programming version numbers are as such:
    Major.Minor.Tweak
    1(Major).7(Minor).3(Tweak -bug fixes-)

    Thus

    1(major).10(minor).0(tweak)

    makes perfect sense.

    posted a message on UserPatches
Question: Why hasn't anyone stepped up and released their own user bug patches? There are tons of bugs in MC and every official patch adds more bugs. It doesn't look like Mojang is in a hurry to fix them (not hating, just saying) so why don't we? I know we can't release the jar file, but what if we make a patcher or whatever. Just my 2 cents.

Also, I fully plan on brushing up on Java and trying my hand at this. This would not be an actual MOD, but would work similar like it. Instead of adding content, we would fix bugs.

posted a message on Minecraft Beta 1.4: What you expect from the next update?
    Quote from Tassadaritze »
So, in this thread you basically share things that you think will be added in the next update.
For example, I think the next update will add bed colors. Like you craft a bed from blue wool, and it will be blue.
    Share your opinions!

What will be added? A crap ton of new bugs :sleep.gif:

I laugh when its a whole new update that takes a few months to make things like colored wool, or colored beds. That requires opening paint, changing the color, then copy/pasting the code for beds a few times. Could be added in 2 hours tops.

posted a message on Weird Spawn Bug?
My brother took the time to count it out, and it was 25 squares in each direction for us. I don't mind having to spawn in the ocean, but it would be nice to get a real solution.

posted a message on Weird Spawn Bug?
So I run a local server for me and my brothers to play on. Pre-1.3 My servers ran fine. But after 1.3 we were not able to place/destroy anything, it would just pop back. By trial and error we discovered that it had to do with how far you were from the spawn point. I downloaded MCEdit and moved the spawn point into the middle of the ocean, and we were then able to actually use the Survival Island map. Is there a more permanent fix for this?

Spend a little more, and get the nintendo 3ds. I got to play with it some while I still worked at Nintendo, it was sick.
