Hey, just wanted to inform you that when I start the map I'm stuck in the carpet and also it is set to creative mode.
You might want to change that first and then reupload it.
Woops. Cheats are also on, so you can set back to adventure [/gamemode 2]
Things are okay on my end, so it's probobly because I made it in the newest prerelease or something.
It might be a bit too difficult (if you get stuck, protip: cheats are still enabled), if you try it please tell me what you like, dislike, or most importantly, SUGGESTIONS.
The general jist of the map is that you complete a challenge to unlock somthing new, which lets you travel to the next challenge etc., vaguely inspired by Zelda.
You can play whatever difficultly you want, however, walls are very thin in places, so beware of . At the same time though, there is one challenge that is impossible on peaceful, so keep that in mind.
Important to note: this was made in the newest prerelease for minecraft. Most of it might still work, but your won't be able to beat it and a few other quirks.
Yeah, sounds pretty excessive for just 1.5x damage, what if it also had increased knock-back?
otherwise, pretty good idea. I also like the idea of the stronger skeletons, maybe they could be larger, darker, and move slower or something, like a powerful and ancient version of the current skeletons.
If there were options that set, for example, what blocks the character could or couldn't break, you could make adventure maps work, and seem much more real.
I do wish there were ways to get those missing potion effects, although I don't really agree with your idea of water breathing and nasea brewing. Maybe fish, sponge or kelp (would need to be added to the game) could be combined with nether warts to get water breathing. As for nausea I'm not so sure, perhaps a red mushroom. Here's another idea, Sugar+slime= slime treat or somthing, which can be brewed with nether wart to make potion of leaping.
wouldn't that be a bit overpowered? You could just kind of stand on somthing tall and hit someone, or sprint-whip them and they could never get you. I say add some sort of interesting mechanic. Somthing like it can be used to pull people, or it does 1 heart of damage and it pushes them back, or slows them. Somthing like that.
also the crafting recipe should be more intuitive, like

At least be more specific with your idea.

the bacon being leather.

just sayin', you don't need a diamond pickaxe to get to the nether, you can just use lava buckets.
