Why I Would Like To Be Staff: [/b]I would love to be staff because I am a long time player of the Convicted Minecraft prison server and every time I played I always wished I had the ability to interact with the players the same way that admins (wardens) were able to. The admins always built cool little activities in the C block room every day and hosted all sorts of events. I'm the type of guy that likes to lead things more than actually playing them. I'll be a great admin because I'm mature, very trustworthy, and aside from playing around with the community I'll also manage issues and other important tasks. As for builder, I've actually built an entire prison (as well as all plugins and configurations) before when I created my own prison server. Unfortunately, I never released it because I was too inspired by the Convicted server, and pretty much built the prison similarly. Anyways, I'm very experienced with tools like WorldEdit etc. and am a pretty good builder, and I haven't yet learned java but I am pretty experienced with configuring plugins and permissions etc so if you need help in the department I can also help there. I love to build easter egg type areas, as well as parkour. I don't know how far along you are with the actual prison, but I'd obviously be able to help with that.
What I Could Bring To The Server: [/b]I'm a very sympathetic guy who is always loved by all members of the community. I never abuse powers and play fairly, as well as give all players a fair experience. Apart from managing problems, I would be a great addition for the community. I would frequently host little activities and what-not for the players. I would always help individual players if they called for it, whether in-game or on the forums.
What Experience I Have With Being Staff: [/b]In the past I ran a vanilla SMP Mindcrack/Hermitcraft-like server that was very successful. In real life, I've always been a great leader.

Launcher not connecting. Using Mac 10.10 and have been stumped trying to figure out how to resolve my issue. Yes I've searched everywhere and tried many things, but the launcher just won't connect. The mcupdate.tumblr.com page isn't loading, just a grey screen (but i'm able to connect to the website through browser). Profiles and versions load after some time, but I'm not able to log into a different account of mine (which I am able to log into using the website). It's only allowing me to play offline. Help!

EDIT: I'm almost 100% sure it's an error with java because I just tried to load up a different Java game and it wouldn't open. What can I do to fix the Java issue?

Why do you want to join this server?: It looks professional and dedicated and I'd like to join one that I'm confident won't fizzle out. Also, it's been up for a couple of months now so I don't have to start from bare survival :), but it's also not too late in the game for a newbie.
Tell me a little bit about yourself: Nice, empathetic, can take a joke and don't hold grudges with people. I'm social and funny and usually liked by everyone else in the community. I like to complete big projects and love helping out with community builds as well.
What is your favorite thing to do in an SMP community?: Create shops and make stacks of 64 on top of stacks of 64 on top of stacks of 64 and so on.
What is your least favorite thing about SMP communities?: Getting started up initially and doing the grindy stuff at the beginning of survival.

Why do you want to join PotatoCraft?: Formerly played a couple of servers that were fun, then went on to host my own server (MindPulse), and now I'd like to have fun playing one, rather than owning one (I shut it down months ago). I have a good friend from a different game, and I just recently discovered that he plays MC community servers like this one, so expect an application from him too ;D. We're both good people, we don't grief or anything against the rules.
What can you bring to PotatoCraft?: Basically I've been playing MC for years... I've become an expert at everything involved within the game. I also love to complete large-scale projects, and creating shops for town. I'm usually liked by everyone on servers ('specially da ladies ;)), and am very interactive with the community.
Favourite block/s?: Quartz, Dyed Clay, other fancy building blocks.

Reasons Why I should Be A Guard:I want to fight for justice and to bring peace to the server. I want to show the people who riot and break other rules, that there are people who will fight against them to bring peace.I am mature in game and in real life so I won't do stupid stuff.I am learning how to handle situations much better than how I use to. I am already trained to be a [Trainee] by fighting "Pvpers" and saving others but then dying to a guard.
PvP Skills:I am a ok "pvper" in my eyes. I feel on a scale of 1-10 i would probably be a 6 or a 7. But i will do my best to fend off the "pvp abusers" and protect the victims. In The Future I will hone my pvp skills and be as good as builder or ender .
Influences:Many guards and trainees plus alphas influenced me but the ones who influenced me to become a[Trainee] were builder1028 and ender_slayer1. Both have saved me many times and showed me a great example of how awesome it is to become a guard. Both have greatly influenced me and i hope i can join them one day . Flaws:My flaws that I wanna improve are, getting ganged on and pressure. I think becoming a [Trainee] will greatly improve my flaws and make them into great tools for pvping.
8) Do you understand that nagging Wardens in-game to read your app will result in immediate decline? Yes I understand fully and won't be an "annoying nub" because getting my app decline would be horrible and the last thing I want to happen

EDIT: I'm almost 100% sure it's an error with java because I just tried to load up a different Java game and it wouldn't open. What can I do to fix the Java issue?

How often do you get on Minecraft?: I haven't played lately because the other server shut down, but I'm usually active daily.
Why do you want to join this server?: It looks professional and dedicated and I'd like to join one that I'm confident won't fizzle out. Also, it's been up for a couple of months now so I don't have to start from bare survival :), but it's also not too late in the game for a newbie.
Tell me a little bit about yourself: Nice, empathetic, can take a joke and don't hold grudges with people. I'm social and funny and usually liked by everyone else in the community. I like to complete big projects and love helping out with community builds as well.
What is your favorite thing to do in an SMP community?: Create shops and make stacks of 64 on top of stacks of 64 on top of stacks of 64 and so on.
What is your least favorite thing about SMP communities?: Getting started up initially and doing the grindy stuff at the beginning of survival.
Have you read the rules and do you agree to them?: Yes, 100% reasonable and I respect them.

Why do you want to join PotatoCraft?: Formerly played a couple of servers that were fun, then went on to host my own server (MindPulse), and now I'd like to have fun playing one, rather than owning one (I shut it down months ago). I have a good friend from a different game, and I just recently discovered that he plays MC community servers like this one, so expect an application from him too ;D. We're both good people, we don't grief or anything against the rules.
What can you bring to PotatoCraft?: Basically I've been playing MC for years... I've become an expert at everything involved within the game. I also love to complete large-scale projects, and creating shops for town. I'm usually liked by everyone on servers ('specially da ladies ;)), and am very interactive with the community.
